He said they weren't touching the whitehouse for his $250m ballroom, but they're currently ripping chunks off the place.

Looking forward to seeing him dancing the Minuet before being carted off to a guillotine by the revolutionaries

You're too old for him

Saw the Aussie reporter ask him about tariffs.

Trump started wanging on about Qantas buying loads of Boeings saying it would all balance itself out and trade was amazing.

Qantas have, in fact, just ordered a new fleet of Airbus planes and not a single Boeing.

Hes thicker than Bolty’s suncream.

He's getting confused with John Travolta's Boeing 707, painted in Qantas livery and he's currently shipping it to Australia... poor old orange dear. 🙂

Brilliant. Ontario have ran an ad with a voiceover from Reagan telling the truth about tariffs. The corrupt orange man baby as a result has called off US-Canada trade talks. He’ll chicken out of course and they’ll be back on soon. Still, it gives him another nice distraction from today’s hot topics of:

- vandalising the whitehouse east wing for his vanity ballroom project

- suing his own DoJ (and US tax payer) for $250m “damages”

- pardoning criminals purely for personal or political gain (George Santos, Changpeng Zhao)

- threatening to send troops into SF

- Being played like a fiddle by Putin

- Epstein

- generally being an obnoxious knob

…..wonder what tmro will bring. Deary me. The leader of the “free” world.

 You really need to get a grip matey and let it go. We can see veins throbbing in your forehead from here.

You can wave him bye bye in 2029. It isn't that far away.

……aye, but don’t know whether I’ll last that long tbh. The moron will probably outlive me. It’s exhausting waking up each day and reading about the latest trainwrecks.

Tip. Well don't do it then.

You are better off not knowing that he's sent an aircraft carrier to sort out the drug cartel problem (and possibly 'accidentally' bump off that dog Corbyns hero - Maduro). If he's going to be strafing their coca plantations and annihilating their private armies he'll be making some powerful enemies. It could prompt a few on here getting their wish - unless The Don makes sure a proper job is done of it.

Don't even risk one eye. It sounds like it would provide a better outcome for your health.

I'll do your share of the 'cheering him on'.

I think in reality the contrived Venezuela conflict has a number of (currently) hidden motivations: (i) a nice little war to boost arm sales and stock prices for another few of Trump’s supporters to reward their support, and/or (ii) achieve a bigger goal of getting his grubby hands on the huge Venezuelan oil reserves (also to reward his mates), and/or (iii) even claim if the US is at war domestic elections are suspended.

Time will tell…..

Could be

Also don't forget the massive investments Russia are making in Cuba including deep water harbour facilities, Cuban fighters are in the Ukraine also. Russian warships are regular visitors.

If Trump places med range missles in Ukraine then Russia will do the same in Cuba just like the 1960s again.

Do you know anything of the recent history of Venezuela (Hugo Chavez/Nicolas Maduro)? People have been getting out in droves. I was with one in Spain only 10 days ago. Won't go home until the militant lefties have been removed by whatever means.

The fact that it is Jeremy Corbyns valhalla should be enough to convince you that something has to happen to sort it. Could be a very wealthy country. Instead a poverty stricken shit hole thanks to communist ideology. As usual though, the leader and his cohorts enjoy extraordinary luxury.

Needs liberating and The Don might just be the man.

Yep - their country is in a mess, and Maduro is a bad ‘un. Fwiw watched the recent Michael Palin travel program - not high brow political analysis I know, but gave a good feel to the troubles (& potential) in the country. Regime change would be fine by me.

The problem I have is that there a dozens of countries like Venezuela around the globe, run by despots, screwing economies and regular folks. Does one country (in effect one man) have the right to decide unilaterally which one(s) to go after? Does the US have the right and legal justification to do this militarily (as opposed to building global consensus and pressure through political and economic means)? If they ignore rules-based international order then what’s to stop anyone doing so? You could get any tinpot dictator with any trumped up reason attacking any country. Anarchy.

I also happen to think (which won’t be a surprise) that Trump doesn’t have an ounce of compassion or empathy in his body. He won’t be going this for the right reason (for the Venezuelan public). No, as a malignant narcissist it will only be for personal gain as per the previous suggestions. The guy is a bigger danger to world peace than Maduro.
