With regards to Tariffs, it won't happen, but China should/could just crush the US in a matter of days if they really wanted to, especially with regards to the control of exports on "rare earths" in products.

China currently control something like 75% of global mining and 90% of the processing of rare earths. The US would be absolutely fucked if they ceased supply for a day or two. The fact China hasn't reacted yet, probably means they know he'll back down anyway, so there's no point in further unsettling the markets.....hopefully

Not sure if he's "won" or "lost" anything yet. It's still to early to tell, I'm sure personally he's made a few quid, which is fair enough, but if the US is going to be better off, who knows. Although I think we're now at the stage where plenty of those who actually voted for him, would be happy enough to be a little bit worse off, as long as he himself was quids in.

As I type, the US markets are up a little bit, so hopefully that'll drag up the rest of the worlds markets, which are all still down (but seem to be recovering)

I’m no Maduro fan, and these boats may have had drugs in, which may have been going to the US, but I’m sorry - no one can just go around bombing and killing like this, without evidence proven in court. If this is “a strong leader delivering”, then any other country could bomb anything anywhere claiming any reason. Global anarchy. No thanks.

Now this is where I’m at. Thinly veiled, over the last two years I’ve been to San Francisco, San Diego, New York and Boston. Get on a hop on hop off bus tour in any of those cities and you are seeing multiple places that make Piccadilly Gardens look like Alderley Edge. Not just the odd alleyway but public parks, shopping areas, major city centre roads, the lot

Talk to the local Muricans. They are totally and utterly fucked off with it. Had a few conversations the other week with them about Trump amongst other things. Majority I spoke to despise him but grudgingly accept that he gets stuff done that’s important to them and the drugs epidemic is high up there. IMO not many of them would give a single shit about that incident

@Bertieif a crime has been committed then let someone come forward and bring a case. The US military were involved so I’m assuming that everything was documented?

👏🏻 I found myself done a bit of a rabbit hole the other night watching clips in and around Philly. Jesus it’s unbelievable, dozens on every street corner full on zombie mode, needless to say hanging out of different parts of their bodies etc.
