Rightly so.

They're only alleged at this point.

Just imagine the trouble that would cause, with legal actions galore.

All this is potential evidence in a series of investigations.

Cocking that up from the outset, would almost certainly mean those purpotrators get away with it, and victims don't see justice.

You either want proper, legal process to take place, or nothing more than accusations and tittle tattle that goes nowhere, apart from litigation and accusers potentially making money.

Whether the full legal process will ever happen in some cases is a different matter, but the information has to be gone through, and cases built.

I doubt that there will never be any justice to be honest and I doubt any names are being withheld pending investigation. I think they’re redacted to protect them, not protect the legal system.

Have they?

Most of the redactions are fo perpetrators as opposed to victims. Many of the victims are referred to as “pizza’s”, etc.

Where did you get this info? I’m surprised someone on here is privy to this.

Some of the victims, I couldn't care less about the culprits.

As above, those accusations have to be investigated.

It's a brave move on their part- maybe even foolhardy- but doesn't necessarily mean they will see justice any quicker. It may make things more difficult.

Well seeing as they have been asking for justice for many years some can't see how it can make things worse. Some of those stood up in the Judiciary Committee and Pam Bondi just smirked.

I will be very surprised if there are any arrests never mind trials at this rate.

It’s in the files mate. I presume you haven’t followed any? Or have you had your fingers in your ears again?

There’s absolutely no evidence that the DOJ have spoken to any of the victims.

Again, do you know this, or assuming?

Alleged victims too.

It all stinks of course, and I can well believe that obfuscation will be taking place at times, but there is no other option at the moment.

That may well change though once Trump has finished his term.

In time some may feel that they won't succeed through the legal process, and they may seek to go public/do interviews/write books etc.

If those they allege abused them then try to sue them then that may give the victim a day in court, but they would need some pretty concrete evidence given the weight of legal force a wealthy individual could bring. It isn't a criminal court neither.

This isn’t aimed at TMGJ by the way, but people who want the victims protected are some of the same ones who accused them of being opportunistic money grabbers with temporary memory loss not so long ago

Based on the committee meeting earlier this week. The committee concluded that there was no evidence that DOJ had spoken with any victims before or since the files were released. The DOJ refused to offer any evidence and instead referred to the committee as “washed up lawyers not even lawyers” which is the worst patter I’ve ever heard

The attorney general, who I believe is the top dog of the DOJ also said that seeking prosecutions is not in the public interest due it possibly leading to a collapse of “the system”, so please forgive me, if I don’t have much faith in the belief the victims welfare is at the top of the agenda

So it’s in the files that many of the redactions are perpatrators?  I’ve been following it quite a lot and I’ve never see this mentioned. Google and AI isn’t helping me either. This is AI response when I quoted your comment

It would be inaccurate to claim that most redactions are there to hide perpetrators.

They are overwhelmingly about:

V protecting victims

V protecting uncharged individuals

V avoiding defamation

V safeguarding sensitive personal data

She did say the shouldn’t be talking about the Epstein files though, but instead telling about the Dow and the Nasdaq performing well

More stuff here.

With any luck, these youngsters will have been identified, and hopefully they will be approached by lawyers to launch some sort of action.

Unfortunately, an image alone won't bring about the downfall of the abusers.

Somehow, they have to find a way around any obfuscation, and as I suggested before, take out a private claim or some such. It's the damning evidence that may be difficult to produce.

Interesting to know how he got this photo as there’s nothing showing on this from the released Epstein files

'Victims' or providers in the worlds oldest profession arena?

'Survivors' is another misnomer.

Note - refer to Ani's quibbling about the legal age of consent. Below 18 and they are victims/survivors. Over 18 they are working folk now sensing the opportunity for a bigger payday.

I couldn't understand the outcry about some 26 yr old Russian bird being flown in a private jet to shag a Prince over the weekend and be entertained at his family Palace in London... she must have thought "I'm now Premier League"... beats draughty Friday nights on Shifnall Street

Epstein was a convicted paedophile, and Ghislaine Maxwell is serving 20 years for grooming his victims, you creepy cunt.
