It’s difficult to not look like Morissey here, but the truth is that the Asian gangs around here are an absolute fucking disgrace, and everyone is shit scared to say so in case they get tagged as racist. Some of the things that have happened are subhuman. However, it’s worth pointing out that the gangs involved made concerted efforts to silence their own communities with threats and intimidation so this idea that those closest to it should speak out is not straightforward

I want to see all child abuse stopped and those responsible put away permanently. Fine by me. But child abuse has been happening for centuries. And has been covered up for centuries. You perceive the world entirely differently to me, which is fine. I don't think speech is being suppressed. I think society rightly has put some curbs on what is naturally acceptable - is it always right? No. But you can still say what you like its just people will and can disagree or point out they find it offensive. Now that is true free speech. Whereas you want a form whereby you set the parameters and say what you like and nobody can question it. That isn't free speech.

Given that they could be working with kids, vulnerable and disabled etc it seems odd in this day and age that taxi drivers aren't DBS checked like most other folk would be.
