N Wales Memories.

Used to like the Butlin's camps and caravan parks in the 60s. Enjoyed working in Llandudno and Colwyn Bay ten years ago, I don't think anybody from N Wales  give me any mither in the pubs apart from speaking Welsh.

I've been to Plas Glynllifon today on a survey and drove back through Snowdonia beautiful then I arrived at Buckley near the office, not so beautiful,

I get to work in some really nice areas of North Wales

Went to Butlins Pwllheli in 89 for a trip in the final year of primary school.

Wearing chinos to the disco and chatting up girls while the Bangles were played were about the highlights.

If memory serves there was a roller coaster that was out of action and also not long after we were there some severe storms that tore the park apart.

Later in life I've enjoyed quite a few golf trips to Nefyn and nights out in Abersoch.

Though my mate's holiday home has had "fuck off English" daubed on it. More than once I think

Booked to take daughter to New Quay (Cardigan Bay) in September. Didn't realise it's 3 and a half fucking hours away until I booked it!

Should have gone to N Wales. :)

Worked on and off at Tetra Pak along with half of Wrexham for ages.

Funny cunts in the warehouse used to speak in Welsh when the English tradesmen were about.

Portmerrion, were they filmed The Prisoner. Been there 3 times. Hell of a trek for what it is. First two times were just about worth the trip. Last time I went, about 2years ago wasn't. Most of it is closed off due to them renting out the buildings as holiday homes. Beach is ace though.

Some good memories from when I was a kid going there, but when I tried to recreate my childhood holidays by taking my kids for a week in Llandudno it wasn't as I remembered, went in a shop, two women at the counter, talking about bingo and a new supermarket and stuff, heard my little girl asking for crisps, can I have this can I have that etc, obvious English accent, so the two cows up at the counter suddenly started speaking Welsh. She was 3 for fucks sake. That coupled with the fact it pissed down rain, the bar man in the hotel was a cunt who didn't think having beer in his bar was an important aspect and seemed to be full of skanks everywhere meant I haven't returned since.

where in Farnworth is that?

Went for a bit of a walk at Rhyl on a nice day a few weeks ago. Miles nicer than I remember, done a good job of tidying up the prom and no longer having the Sun Centre has done a good job at reducing the number of Scousers knocking about.
