I choose not to go to the macron as I feel that the stewards are over top with fans ie telling you to sit down stopping you havin a good old sing song and a bit of a laugh. What I would like to know is it getting any better are you aloud a bit more freedom when watching a game. I try to get to away games and you don't get the same hostility as you do at home or is it just me getting old thoughts please.

In fairness they and the police handled to away fans well yesterday. When a couple of not rights came over as we scored the second; I thought it would go off big style.

I've never really had an issue with stewards myself and apart from 2 incidents in nigh on 20yrs at migglebrook I've never noticed any problems from stewards.

The reason I ask cause I was arrested there in 2004 for going down 4 steps onto the edge and it cost me a criminal record that was all down to over reaction from the stewards so now I am bit weary of them, but hey I was only trying to get some feed back from you all.

If you were arrested that's a police issue. Stewards can't arrest you. Dunno what happened but could it be that you had also over reacted at the time?

Used to stand up no probs at the back of the north lower, likewise under the scoreboard are always stood too, stewards only seem arsed about away fans these days, the rest just stand there

 

It's always been if you go over the "fence" at the bottom you're out, not so much an over reaction, that's one thing they won't let you do, though only ever seen it happen in the away end after a goal

Stewards are a lot more relaxed now. Theyre proper bastards to away fans which earned one a smack in the face yesterday. Home end they're fine though. They use to be terrible but like a lot of things at the club they've improved immensely!

P.S. we were playing Southampton and we scored what I thought was a goal we piled forward and the gate in front had no lock on it and I ended up down the steps and the woman steward handed me to the police instead of asking me back to my seat.  The goal was offside
