RIDE at Falmouth today
Heading west to a concert  brings back memories of Cornwall Colliseum at St Austell

Saw them last, last Friday at New Century in Manchester. Thought they were incredible. Volume in there wasn’t as loud as when I’ve seen them previously, which was refreshing! I could actually decipher the songs easily.

Was back at New Century on Wednesday to see Snow Patrol do an 8-song album launch show. Also very good. (Not sure why it was classed as an album launch, only played 2 new songs, that have been out for weeks and months!).

Surprised the Dave Navarro / Perry Farrell incident didn’t make the pages of WWs!!

Actually proper gutted this has happened, but so glad I went to see them in the summer now.

What a line up this is - tickets will be like gold dust but going to try. Saw Lanegan with Duke Garwood at Union Chapel. Was a great gig, got to shake his hand and he was still cool as. The reissue of Bubblegum is on my Xmas list.

well in a metrocentric champagne socialist I-follow-Kier case of its not what you know, dropped a line to a mate who works there and bish, bash, bosh - 2 tickets on the guest list....ithankyouverymuch.....

He's a fucking legend.

Found a decent little record shop in Faversham today - got Everything Changes by Love, Dirt Alice in Chains and Republic New Order all for 50 quid.

Criminally underrated but not really monster magnet anymore.

Going to see Magnum on 22nd Jan at Manc Academy 1 for 1 of 5 tribute to Tony Clarkin concerts . not sure how I feel about seeing them with a new guitarist and Bobs voice isnt what it was but one last time , gotta be done . One of my favourite bands since I was leant a tape in 1987 .

Few of you music gimps will appreciate this that's up in a music bar I do.

That's more of an overplayed to the point of annoyance list rather than shit song list.

Although any shit song list with Queen on there is fine with me.

It's a low bar.

Check out ‘Sorry Cheryl’ on Spotify. First EP up there now. Mate’s lad helped out on the tracks, drums, production, etc.

Radiohead's only saving grace is that occasionally Radio DJs play the sweary version of Creep and have to apologise.

Stay out of this Frank. You think a fat bloke from Smethwick belching angrily down a microphone for 3 hours whilst another fat bloke just thrashes 2 power chords through several distortion pedals is music.

I will fight you, and I will win, and you will have to write “Thom Yorke makes my winkie hard” in the sand on Blackpool beach at low tide.

Are we clear?
