  • Benedict Cumberbatch played Alan Turing in The Imitation Game, he's not even a proper bummer.

  • Not quite a show… but the missus has fallen asleep mid program; I do it all the time, just watch on… she doesn’t agree. She’s now fallen asleep 3 times during last 10 mins of episode of Outlaws.

If anyone is at a (very) loose end next tuesday, tune into the Museum of the Year awards - you might even catch a glipse of yours truly sorting out the cloakroom https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m0010016

I see it as a huge step up, I'm now in charge of the petty cash.

Almas not normal on bbc2/iplayer. Filmed in Bolton. Got good reviews. Saw it being filmed in Breightmet whilst I was working.

You're not wrong.

I have now been given the task of making the playlist for the night. I think its because I spend more time making playlists for the friday afternoon drinks than anything else.

I'm wondering if I can try and sneak a bit of Carcass on there.

Some posh twat off TOWIE or Made In London or sommat is on YouTube, think it was BBC3 originally - at a gig at The Alma...

Shows him walking around like a French Anthropologist amongst South Seas Cannibal Tribes.

Later stuff is too melodic.

It's obvious, but 'Colostomy Grab Bag' by O.L.D. (Old Lady Drivers) would be good...

Bob Mortimer in Manchester last night was superb.

We don't deserve him

I don't think I can go full on.

Anyway, pputting it together at lunch, looks ok so far.

Did you go and see Bob Mortimer in Manchester last night?

I did, I may have mentioned it.

It was in Manchester.

After the show, Manchester was crawling with young students who made me feel simultaneously old and excited.

I'm having a campochoochoo just now

I heard there were two wheelchair users down the front and Mortimer got security to move them because "they're putting me off..."

He gave a free copy of his book and a packet of Rennies to the disabled lady near the front of the stage. So you’re not far off.

That’s why it got the biggest laugh of the night.

@Cheese

@Spider

If Jim Davidson had done that he'd have been a bastard.

St. Bob does it and it's hilarious.

I heard he got a steward sacked because he shouted 'Spin, spin, spin the wheel of Justice' at Mortimer during the rehearsal.

He summoned the Theatre manager and was overheard saying something along the lines of "It was thirty cunting years ago, get rid of the cunt", the bootlicking manager replied "Sure, Mr. Mortimer I'll move him to the car park..."

'National treasure' Mortimer then exploded with "No, you cretin, I said get rid, not rearrange his location - get rid as in p45 get rid, you stupid pufter..."

"Sack him or start doing sums regarding refunds..."

Nice bloke.

Mr Whitehouse is a nice fella.

Said I was surely too young to watch his fishing programme as I made idle small talk. The charmer.
