I mentioned Vaibhav Sooryavanshi in a previous post. A 15 year old wonder kid! Well we have 17 year old Joe Moores. A great knock of 55 today. Showed up the experienced top order. Wasn’t enough though

  • On paper, the best batting line up we've had since Atherton, Crawley & Fairbrother, if not before.   On grass, absolute shite so far.

Big profits for Lancs. Expect even more for this year

Sadly in a salary cap environment it's completely irrelevant to on field success (unless they want to spend money on an actually qualified coach...)

Unbelievably bad captaincy today in the Roses match. Parkinson had us well on top at 87/3 off 24 overs, then inexplicably was taken off after only 4 overs (straight after taking a wicket) and by the time he came back Yorkshire had an 80 partnership and were well on top.

Should have been a pretty decent sized win, but looking like a stroll for Yorkshire now.

Jeepers that was close - good to win in the end but my word we made hard work of it!

Nice to see a Bolton boy produce great bowling figures for Lancs today.

On a rainy day.....That’s brightened Mah Mood :D

Does his dad dye his hair?

Another win for Lancs in the One-Day cup.

Croft on fire again, Mahmood doing well again.

Caught some commentary on radio Newcastle online. A difficult pitch on which to score runs, but did the job. Doing pretty well now after a dodgy start.

Commentary on the internet via BBC if anyone interested.

Reduced overs game (38).

Great run of form. Hameed had a couple of ducks, but Lehman done well in first two games.

3 months off yet!

Game against Middlesex tomorrow is on sky.

Already won there once this season.

Absolutely ripping Middlesex a new one.

By the fook, Mahmood looks some bowler

This is what fucks me right off with cricket.

Middlesex were on the ropes, 24-5..two bowlers absolutely on fucking fire....we could have nailed those fuckers inside 20 overs.

What do we do ? Take Anderson and Mahmood off when the Eastenders Tailbellenders are ripe for picking.

They put on shitloads now and have got the upper hand.

Stupid cunting wankers in cricket.

Now breathe Si :D

Onions has bowled like a turnip

Fuck me that was hard work.

Back on TV Sunday, hopefully Livingstone can get some runs - we do look light a finisher at the moment, no real umph in the batting but hard to argue with the bowling line up

Did wonder about that Si. At least give one of them another couple of overs.

Pitch wasn't really offering anything to the spinners.

Harris played well though.

Onions seems slower than I remember him, no great surprise though.

Nothing better than watching Jos Buttler

Incredible and effortless.

Decent start, but as usual a batsman light and could do with a good partnership here or we could be scratching around trying to bat the overs

And there we go. 4 down and no batting left for the 2nd half of the innings.

Sadly more true than I expected, completely subsided with the bat.

Luckily Mahmood is a monster so it seems we're still in the game here though.

If they keep him on and get Vince out, ma mood might just change.

If they different bowlers on its game over.

Hope Jimmy’s ok
