Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted September 26, 2018 Site Supporter Posted September 26, 2018 Last three wickets for nowt. Only needed 27 more runs for the bonus points. We could now get relegated on the same points as Notts. Couldn't make it up. Do they practice batting? Quote
Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted September 27, 2018 Site Supporter Posted September 27, 2018 I see Allott has commented on Hameed's lack of performance. I'm not sure he'll be playing first team cricket for much longer if he doesn't improve early doors next season. Quote
Guest Posted September 29, 2018 Posted September 29, 2018 Looking at the averages; Liam Livingstone's highest score this season was 48 i know they play at poor times of the season, but Quote
Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted September 29, 2018 Site Supporter Posted September 29, 2018 Released three. Kerrigan, Brown and Lilley. Quite liked the look of the latter when he first came to the fore. Remember an incredible catch in a televised T20 game. Quote
miamiwhite Posted April 5, 2019 Author Posted April 5, 2019 Double century for Hameed today albeit against a uni team. Lets hope he can do it when it really matters. Looking forward to seeing Glenn Maxwell and Joe Burns batting for us this year. Quote
Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted April 5, 2019 Site Supporter Posted April 5, 2019 Good news that. He was on 80 odd last I heard. Quote
miamiwhite Posted April 5, 2019 Author Posted April 5, 2019 He didn’t score 80 in all his innings combined last season... Quote

Lovely century today, the kids on fire.......always said that Hameed was a class act Saves his best knock today for the home of cricket. Quote
Whizz Posted April 13, 2019 Posted April 13, 2019 Tried to back him to be the division leading run scorer yesterday with Sky’s requestabet. They’ve still not given me a price. He’s got a point to prove, playing a division down and won’t get an ashes call up regardless of how many he scores. I hope he scores a boatload. Nice lad and his ability and dedication will come through. Quote

Went to Lords for the first day of this. Lots of young players coming through the ranks at Lancashire just now - and the Bolton influence is strong. I was sad young Matt Parkinson wasn't selected but the other Boltonians - Bohannon and Hameed are playing. Quote
Moderators Casino Posted April 13, 2019 Moderators Posted April 13, 2019 I think Parkinson might be injured Buttler and Livingstone currently on live for rajasthan Quote

Salford Trotter Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 Great start for Lancs with a 7 wicket win over Middlesex Quote

Great reverse psychology from Hameed too.....makes the entire world think he’s shit last season to avoid selection for the Ashes, then smashes them everywhere this season. I love the diversity in Bolton Quote

Our batting line up this season looks pretty decent. Maxwell was a top signing, but he’s took more wickets than he’s got runs so far With him, Buttler and Livingstone....crikey, the T20 side looks like It’s a Knockout time... Quote

This lad Rob Jones looks solid as well. Knew nothing about him until seeing him in action the other day. It's about time Lancashire produced some good middle order batsmen. Quote

Is it Sunday when we play Yorkshire at Headingley in the one day Cup ? Warm weather, Easter Weekend, payday, many beverages imbibed....what could go wrong when our lot let fly Quote

Not sure how much longer the Championship has got left - at least in its current recognisable format. I'm an old fashioned tw*t with the cricket! Quote
Piemon Posted April 17, 2019 Posted April 17, 2019 Lancs play Durham in a home game in Sedbergh end of June. Our Caravan is half a mile from Sedbergh School. Cant wait Quote
miamiwhite Posted April 17, 2019 Author Posted April 17, 2019 Without tempting fate, Glenn Maxwell starting to let off steam now at Old Trafford.....not the pensioner poster from near Burnley I may add Quote
