Just our luck that the year we finally get a really strong looking team, we're in div II.

 

Still, nice to rip through everyone - 50 overs aside we've been too good for the competition this year.

Absolute savage - genuinely felt sorry for one of their young lads who went for 20 off 4 balls, then their captain kept him on for 3 more overs of similar treatment.

Just frustrating we're in the wrong division - winning this one so dominantly you'd have to think we'd be a great shout for the county championship if we were in it.

He's 22, so unless he has an active class A drugs issue, I'm pretty sure someone else will pick him up and I hope he proves Paul Allott very wrong.

Same thing happened to Kerrigan - downturn after England spell and the old boys club we have coaching at Lancashire washed their hands of them very quickly.

Funnily enough, I did wonder if there might be a non cricketing issue in this case. 

Arron Lilley didnt last long either. Not sure how good he was, but remember him doing well in a TWO game on sky, helping to pull off a wonder catch beyond the boundary.

Dunno what the coaching set up is like- will take your word on the old boys club- but we do seem to get through a few.
