I mentioned Vaibhav Sooryavanshi in a previous post. A 15 year old wonder kid! Well we have 17 year old Joe Moores. A great knock of 55 today. Showed up the experienced top order. Wasn’t enough though

  • On paper, the best batting line up we've had since Atherton, Crawley & Fairbrother, if not before.   On grass, absolute shite so far.

Record 8th wicket stand

And highest score ever by a number 9

Luke Wood had some day there.

Interesting team this. A lot of players at the right age to develop. The bowling attack has incredible variety - left arm/right arm seam and slow left arm/leg spin and off spin. The only thing lacking is a chinaman/left arm wrist spinner. And they're as rare as rocking horse shit throughout cricket.

Looking forward to seeing what develops in this and future seasons.

Parkinsin has done what he needs to be doing regularly

Great day for him

Is Mahmood injured, or just not picked?

Rotation?

2 hundreds in the match for Haseeb

I didn't know they'd changed the format for this season.

Another one-off, apparently

Going well for another win

Aye, a fair behind on first innings, but bowled them out cheaply second time round.

Plenty of time tomorrow, so just got to hold their nerve. Solid start, hope Jennings can lay anchor and we should be OK.

At lunch 25 needed with 5 wickets left. Jennings still there on 83.

Jimmy nabbed Labuschagne for a few.

Saw that.

Presumably the weather affected the game today. Saturday looks like it could be a wash out to. Draw I reckon.

Shit batters

234/1 ..... 75 ahead.....Century for Jennings

Looks like @Not in Crawley is shirt sponsor for Yorkshire

Big day tomorrow- hope they didn't bat too long, but that late wicket could make a big difference.

Crush them please.
