The ENGLISH football league have kicked Mitre - the English manufacturer - out and replaced them with GERMANS to supply footballs.

Liz Truss hasn’t commented on it I notice.

Just had a look at the announcement, and can't see anything about anyone being kicked out.

Just a new supplier from next season.

Is there more to it?

A new supplier generally means the old one is out on their arse.

Which is different than being kicked out- as that infers something went awry mid contract.

The Germans must have made a more attractive offer.

Maybe Mitre will have more luck with European leagues.

Is the deal with Norway not actually a bit worse than the deal we had with them previously when we were in the EU?

I've no idea, just put it up for discussion, though I do know all these small deals do indeed start to add up. Handy as well for when the EU collapses, which it will.

Some desperate comments on those links, about the tiny value trade deals, as if they don't matter. Interested to know where these folk draw the line, and which countries they'd dismiss as being of no value.

One even goes on about the trade with the EU being  of such a large amount and these little ones are much smaller. Perhaps he missed the deal we did with the EU.

These extra ones will hopefully open up new markets to take up any slack lost with the EU, and maybe go beyond.

Much easier to moan, pull your face and take a negative dismissive attitude though that be positive and look at new opportunities, both at home and abroad.

Shall we have a bet now about who spends more time on Twitter….?

I note with amusement and no real surprise that El Trump gave a speech with his pants on back to front last night.

Apparently, older gents do this to facilitate adult nappies.

Imagine if Uncle Joe had done that.

David Frost, Brexit minister, on withdrawal agreement:

“We underestimated the effect of the protocol on goods movements to Northern Ireland, with some suppliers in GB simply not sending their products because of the time-consuming paperwork required.”

You underestimated the effects, cocker, some of the visionaries had a hunch it wouldn’t be all sunny uplands and red buses etc…

You'd think therefore that all parties would be keen to resolve the issues then, as they're helping no one.

How very odd

I’m banned off Facebook currently but not been banned off Twitter for over a year.

Good to know my popularity isn’t confined to a small circle of friends 😁

You should be well behaved like myself and not get banned off sites for being abusive and posting shite.

Lessons given everyday.

🤣🤣🤣🤣

The day I give a fuck what the Facebook and Twitter police think of me is the day I become truly absorbed into the machine itself.

If someone has read what I’ve posted and taken time out of their day to report it, then I imagine they probably have hard drives full of extremely troubling images.

Social media sites are now just safe havens for virtue signalling snowflakes and folk who like to take knees, wave colourful flags and do as they’re told, it would seem.

Well, probably explains why you haven't been banned for over a year on twitter then  😀
