This is not good.

I can't blame the company for cancelling the viewings if it's got to the stage that their staffs' safety is under threat, but no one should be forced into a position where they have to give in to intimidation.

Shame we cannot just ban all religions, save a lot of grief.

Well, it lasted 24 hours, but that bumbling fucking lump of congealed duck fat is now letting his mouth go off again.

Today, he's in Blackpool telling everyone that his manifesto was to build 300,000 new homes, but that target will now not be reached, even though we need new homes but new homes aren't the answer.

Instead, he's going to let people on benefits of 14 shillings and sixpence a week get a mortgage to buy their social housing. Thus reducing the availablility of social housing and pushing up rental costs.

10 minutes later, he was talking about tariffs for bananas and olives because we obviously have lost our way and the Great British Banana and Olive growers of ye olde Britaine need to get farming again.

It's breathtaking, literally breathtaking how much of a cunt he is, how fucking stupid he is.

Honestly, right, if you are still happy that this bloke is our leader, then you wear an ill-fitting baseball cap that says "Everyday's a bonus" on the front.

I used to watch Mayor's Question Time starring BoJo.

It was comedy gold. Not only did he exasperate Labour, LibDems and Greens, but some of his Con colleagues too.

I think the only person on here who is "happy" that he is our leader is somebody who lives about 10,000 miles away

"It's time to turn benefits into bricks"

It just really isn't going to work is it, even if the banks allow benefits to be taken into account when applying for a mortgage, then surely you'd still need at least 5% deposit (let's be generous and say that's only £10K) - how the fuckery, if you're claiming benefits in the first place, are you supposed to be able to save for the deposit?!?!

I presume there is a proper plan in place, and this isn't just another soundbite to try and get the masses onside after he got whopped in the confidence vote earlier this week....

Hoodwinking dewy-eyed expats and overweight, lager-fuelled Benidorm dwellers is like shooting fish in a barrel for Boris. They’re his target audience after all.

The rest of us, who live in 2022, know he’s simply an obfuscating, damp-chinned thunderspack.

I think I'm right in thinking people with savings of £16,000 or over aren't even entitled to benefits.

There's not a chance they'd know how to use apostrophes correctly.

It's utter bollocks. Cameron tried something similar in 2015. The Conservatives are brilliant at promising impossible shit that will obviously never happen.

Hey, you housing associations, see all those houses you've spent years and millions of pounds building up?

You're just going to flog em.

Oi, banks. You're going to lend a shitload of money to folk who have fuck all chance of paying it back.

Right, when we getting started?

The Conservatives under Boris Johnson are basically permanently campaigning to keep him in the job. They'll literally say anything, regardless of how ridiculous or impossible it is. This is not a good way to run a country.

Heard a woman on Jeremy Vine today saying that she was on benefits and paying £750 in rent. Surely better to be paying that amount to pay off a mortgage if the government can arrange this?

Social Housing isn't really there to be sold off to the highest bidder.

The idea is that people eventually get into a position where they can move on.

If all rentals are sold off, where do people go?

If I thought for a second anything Boris said was anything other than disingenuous bollocks designed to deflect and impress, I'd be concerned. As it is, he'll have moved on from this idea by next monday and be trying to impress his mob of nodding morons with another crackpot, unachievable idea.

That’s not what has been proposed though. If your immediate response to everything that the government proposes is to criticise Boris then I’ll leave it there. Like many others.

What’s the proposal? Because the speech I heard made fuck all sense

What he's announced is fucking nonsense.
