No point committing to something without seeing the books. Sensible politics. You probably don’t remember that as we haven’t had it for 13 years.

Amazing to think the last "sensible" PM we had was probably David Cameron, who inadvertently brought on this entire shit show. As much as I disagreed with his politics, at least he wasn't an absolute fucking buffoon. We need a reset similar to what the Yanks have had since Biden was elected. Yes, he makes the odd gaffe which is magnified when it's condensed into a 10-second clip on twitter, but at least he's getting stuff done.

Bring on the boring-as-fuck Starmer. Blissful dull efficiency.

I take it you’re voting Labour?

Really, no election date has been announced and manifestos haven’t been finalised, a lot can happen in 15 months. Someone has just pretty much said the same on here, I can’t think who.

It was me. Currently, I intend to vote Labour at the next GE, as they are the Party most likely to oust the Tories. But, get this - I am allowed to change my mind before the GE is announced! Right up to the second before I enter the booth! 🤯 Mad innit!

15 months of campaigning Vs 13 years in charge of the country.

If folk are going to vote Conservative anyway, or rather anything but Labour, fair enough - personally I 100% support that. But don't dress it up as an intellectual rather than ideological choice.

Of course you can change your mind but you seem pretty adamant that you’re voting Labour.  It’s like a cult.

Are you waiting for all the manifestos to come out before deciding?

Look forward to your thoughts on them all and how you arrive at that vital decision 🙂

Yep, I’ll read through them all before deciding to fuck it off and not vote.

Never heard of him

Spelling aside, you do know that political parties aren't cults though?

I mean, it's one of the many, many, many reasons I'd never sign up to be in the armed forces. Imagine having to follow the dictat of whoever is in charge? That lack of free will seems bonkers to me personally.

So you've already made your decision.

Fair enough, so when things go well or badly, as you have no dog in the fight you'll keep quiet or will you rather pretend you are above our democracy and take the side of whichever way the wind is blowing?

What a genius way of never being wrong. Or right. Or being a participant in the future of our country.

It’s a bit like being one of those ManU fans who couldn’t find Old Trafford on a map of Manchester, but watches on telly and gets all upset anyway.

Each to their own 🙃

No one said the party are cults. Their supporters on the other hand.

Most lines of employment you have to follow who’s in charge. It’s the basic structure of most work places. Not sure about selling tickets like.

No one has asking me to and fight and kill other people without questions asked.

And your first sentence is a bit silly so without a political party, folk would just be a random cult? That makes sense.

Not far off, when it’s going shit I can tell you “I told you so” but when things are going good I will probably say “fair dos I didn’t see that coming, well done”

I won’t come on here and blame anything and everything who’s in power like many on here love to do.

You see you’d be fantastic in logistics or in the catering branch. It’s not all kill kill kill. You need to stop watching soldier soldier and read a book.

Again, you're not really understanding how government and cause and effect works.

Mind you, to be fair to you, its probably the only.way you can think about joining the armed forces, as you need to do what you are told, whoever is in charge.

OK, if it makes it easier. No one tells me where I should go, or what I should do.

As for books, I think you're probably picking a fight with the wrong person.
