Keir Starmer’s attempt at European diplomacy to solve the illegal immigrant problem seems to have backfired. They obviously think now is the time to show they are a credible alternative rather than an opposition. Bad start.

To be fair, if you think the worldwide displacement of people is solved by a few hundred folk going to Rwanda then I am not sure you understand the situation.

Nothing to do with Rwanda. Europe has a huge problem with illegal immigration. Ours is negligible in comparison. Starmer is naive to think he could negotiate any sort of deal.

Their response is to simply shove loads of pictures of brown men in dinghies everywhere, making them out to be an invading army of rapists and murderers.

It ain’t just the Tories who are criticising Starmers farcical European jaunt. The Europeans are pretty much saying ‘You’ve got a problem with illegal immigration? 😅😅😅😅😅

People should stop looking west and look east. I’ve said it before. Look what’s going on in Europe. 
I mentioned twelve months ago about the political and economic problems ongoing in Europe. Our German poster got upset and left us. Germany is now the only EU country with negative gdp. Some people just don’t like the truth.

Right, Tata steel is changing over to electric arc furnaces in Port Talbot. Big grant from the government to help.

Big strides towards net zero, but likely to see significant job losses as the process doesn't need as many jobs, partly due to the use of scrap steel in and the process.

Blast furnaces due to be wound down anyway as they reach the end of their lives.

Unions not happy, but other interested parties are really pleased.

There are very few "easy" political decisions.

we were talking about Tories and Labour, not Brexit.

It’s possible to pull the two apart.

One was a vote that had no second chance.

The other is a vote that happens every five years and can be judged on past performance as well as “promises”

I maintain that it’s fair to be critical of Brexit now we know how it’s panned out. 6 years is long enough to judge, that’s for sure. And it’s 99% shit.

We’ve all done it for BWFC for <insert years since first game> 

You carry on like you’ve never made any mistakes. Some going if not.

Brexit is going well for Wales, £500 million down in the first two years compared to EU money they used to get, Scotland £150 million down in the first year. Cracking!
