The folks who thought that have all left the Labour Party and are now campaigning for Corbyn or the greens or Galloway. 
Labours problem is it has picked up moderate voters but those moderate voters are volatile. They’ve lost a lot of the left sided voters and a lot of the Muslim vote in the process. That could be a problem. 

Most models are saying Labour are getting 450+ seats

The only disagreement seems to be with where a few marginals go

The folks who thought that are every Labour supporter who lost the last election. Can’t believe you’ve even mentioned the Muslim vote. Is that at all relevant? What about the Jewish vote or the Hindu vote or the Catholic vote? Should I go on? 🤷‍♂️

That’s absolutely not true the first line. At all. The folks who have stayed and fought to reclaim the Labour Party are the ones who abhorred the Corbynite and momentum middle class leftist attitude. Say what you want about people in Labour but they are relentlessly focussed on winning back those voters and are doing so at the expense of the left leaning ones who flocked in for Corbyn. Who are the people who spend every second of their day hating Labour? It’s the former Corbyn supporters and voters…you don’t need to be on social media much to see that.

And the Muslim vote is relevant in this context because they usually disproportionately would vote Labour but are now moving away from it…towards the same places Corbyn supporters went.

Come on! The so called ‘red wall voters’ were ridiculed as being thick because they voted both for Brexit and the Tories in 2019. Salt of the earth now. 
I still find it odd that you mentioned Muslim voters even with your explanation. I can’t remember a religion being an influence in any election I’ve seen and that’s a lot.

The Pakistani/Bangladeshi vote skewing Green is quite surprising to me; not the fact that Labour are losing voters from that demographic, but the destination of that potential vote

Yeah they were but that was not a Labour Party thing. It was the general tone of the discussion. I think it was divisive and horrible and people just got very frustrated. However, you can’t say the current Labour leadership have ever thought like that given the amount of time and space they’ve given to those voters to the expense of the left wing who they’ve essentially purged.

It is possible to make a stupid decision, and learn from it with hindsight. 😉 I reckon at least half of the people I know who admitted to voting Leave have expressed regret about it since.

There's not a chance in hell of it happening. Friday is going to be very disappointing for anyone hoping for anything like that result.

 

 

Here's another one with Labour with 450 seats. Fewer LD, Reform, Green, SNP gains. A more conservative model if you will

They are back to being thick northerners now voting for Labour and  normal service is resumed. 👍
