Aye......Alf can only play in a 2 up front ( he's no target man & can't play out wide ) & when we play with 2 up front, our midfield & then our defence are overrun, & we get clobbered

Couldn't ask any more from the players really - especially given the conditions.

Both sides were going at it full pelt second half - although they seemed to cope with the conditions better. Some of the sliding challenges going in towards the end of the game were immense.

Good game for me - I'd have taken a point and I reckon being a pragmatist - so would Parky. Keep that spirit and we'll be reet.

Good point re the conditions

Only a moonman wouldn't acknowledge how they affected the game more and more

Never did us any harm v Zenit. Parky Out! ☺

Just looked at highlights bad misses from Armstrong and vela especially the last.

It was important we didn't lose today and after they scored we came back strong again, characters good in the team that might save our bacon.

We showed great character after they equalised. I was expecting them to go on and get a winner.

Why do we sit offf soooo much, 35% possession at home to QPR is shocking.

Instead of keeping the ball, we try to relieve pressure by going long every time.

And it just ends up coming back, and we sit too deep, and eventually the oppositions score, today was another example of it.

Parkys too negative, can’t expect to sit back from the 60th min onwards.

Huddersfield had 22% posession againt utd

Was just going to mention those possession stats

Utter bumchuffery

Passing it around in your own box at 1 0 down

Fan fucking tastic

Maybe its ok cos the centre backs go wide at goal kicks or something

Great word bumchuffery wonder who made that up.????

If the storm had arrived an hour earlier, that game wouldn’t have finished. Not a classic and was never going to be but it’s a point.

I don’t get it at all with Madine though, for me he’s the weak link of the team

Jesus Christ weak link? Fucking hell not having that.

Mental!

Surely strikers either score goals or bring players into the game, he does neither. Maybe I’m blinkered but I don’t see him getting in many or even any other championship teams

Wheater was back to his best today, Beevers wasn’t too far behind.

Nice to see we are more solid (no doubt partly due to Henry and Pratley as well), we actually have a chance in games now by scoring 1 or 2 goals rather than needing 3 or 4.

Agree totally, folk saying he's doing a great job I just don't get.

Got to get someone more capable in on loan or from lower divisions in January for any chance of staying up. Know that's not going to happen but you can only hope.

yes because we are creating loads of clear cut chances for a goal scorer

I could have sworn he laid it on for Pratley today.

The bloke works hard, but he hans't got pace and he isn't a predatory poacher.

I rate him at 1st Div level, but i don't think he's a good Championship striker.

Totally Agree

Why did Ameobe go off, none of his changes made a scrap of difference

I don't get the Madine love in, he's in the team to score goals and he doesn't. Taking armstrong off for Noone was a strange one for me I thought armstrong was doing OK. Conditions were terrible though and a point was decent in the end

Because he is still making his return from injury and wasn't affecting the game?

By the way. Special mention for Alnwick today - his handling was very good in that weather and he made a worldy in the second half. Gordon Banksesque
