Tommy’s actions outside the court broke an order that was in place to reduce the chance of a grooming gang getting off on a technicality.

people can argue till they are blue in the face about how real that threat was or that other people have done the same. But the fact is he put his own agenda above securing a prosecution.

What a whopper. Double or quits with yourself, to cover the embarrassment of your gullibility.

Explains a lot about your views on life, mind.

With myself ?

What a whopper and keyboard warrior you are. Totally clueless but patronising as always. That explains a lot about you, how I pity your friends if you have any.

You know full well i do thorough research before posting anything....fact.

One day next season....

So when you posted the Kate Adie message, you knew is was a wind up account then? Really? No bullshit?

We all make mistakes. Admit it.

Course I knew it was you clot. Hence the bet with someone who frequents this board occasionally.

Like I say, one day next season, I’ll introduce you to him, then you can apologise, I can’t say fairer than that can I ?

Interesting comments by the legend Kate Adie.

I had a bet with my mate that Kate Adie would change her name to Bernard Waggonwheel too!

Looks like we're all in the money this weekend! :)

PM me and I’ll tell you. You’ll understand when I explain.

@kent_white

My mate, Giant Haystacks, reckons he knew Kate Adie was Bernard Wagonwheel before you did and if you wish to dispute this and call him a smelly fat c*nt to his face he'll be outside the club shop before the Coventry match.

I saw Giant Haystacks slap an 11 year old around the face at an 'All Stars Wrestling' event at Exmouth Pavilion circa 1987.

Even though I'm pretty sure he's dead - I still don't want to take that risk.

And that was his son*...

So, think on.

* Or, if it wasn't, then 'Giant' obviously cared as little for child protection laws as little as the authorities cared for children (then).

His son used to drink around Prestwich, pretty sure it was The Village Hotel/Club,  IIRC, not totally sure of the name

Just catching up. Fucking unbelievable. It's the way of the left these days. Their whole ideology is so utterly fucked and failing all around the world that their desperation has them stooping to ever new lows.

Sick cunts on ignore. The way of the future.

It’s why I rarely comment these days on anything political on here or social media. Occasionally but not often

A lot of my mates are big “lefties” and I accept them, they accept me and we have reasoned debate. A couple of them, however, post incessantly on social media and then revert to name-calling if you disagree with them (like some on here). If you then sit and have a pint with them they stop that behaviour

Im guessing that many on here would be the same

I find it really baffling

Spot on mate.

I’ve been guilty of asking folk to meet up for a chat, though I’d honestly only have a beer or two with them at my expense. Like you say, drinking together certainly is totally different than arguing on here.

It's because social media forces you to one extreme and leaves no room for nuance. Plus you can't tell by body language it tone what kind of person someone is. That's why I frequently stick a :) if I think my comment could inadvertently make me sound like I was being a bell.

And it swings both ways - have a look at some of the abuse PH throws around on the Brexit thread for example.

Throw into that Poe's Law and it's a heady mix of everyone hating each other who would get on perfectly well if they ever sat down and had a beer.

Works both ways mate. Don’t think this is the preserve of the left.

Your offers of a pint do tend to come with a side serving of pork scratchings and the mild whiff of the threat of violence.

I’ve admitted that, but in real life, it’s from far it.

Life is too short these days for shit like that.

I know. Your views may be divisive (I agree and disagree in equal measure with them) but would happily meet up

But that’s the thing. Context is everything and you think about. Many don’t and then hit out at the reaction

It does. But if I could be arsed trawling through the Brexit thread, for example, I see far more “you’re a simpleton type replies” from the left than the right

And before you cane me on that, I accept that it may be that I’m only seeing it from my point of view. And I have no desire, whatsoever, to fall out with you. I don’t know you, have never met you, and at least share a common bond re BWFC. If we ever met I’m sure that we’d get on

Yep, I do know that. We’re too old for that sort of shit

Here’s a fact.....I won £20 as I bet someone that one of two posters off here would reply within a hour or two saying it wasn’t the real Kate Adie.

So easy to script you lot, thanks for the score Cheese :D

Who did you have the bet with?

And why?

For sure. Maybe we all suffer from some sort of bias. But like you I’ve tended try and not get involved. I just copy and paste funny fuckers from twitter into these sorts of thread now

The poster will come on later, why we had a bet is our business not yours, thank you.

Talking of your namesake, I watched that clip with the pubes and the pizza :D

I lost £50 on it being a fishing trip
