although i was not close to ferny seen his face around for many years, finally had the pleasure of meeting him in lisbon he was a true bolton wanderers fan and loyal english man his passion for both club and country was clear to any one who met him, a very sad loss he will be badly missed from the football scene, i know he had made many friends around the country watching bolton and england so he will be missed by many fans from clubs all around the country, i feel gutted by this tragic news.

Can't believe it.

Don't know who you are talking about, but it's never nice to have someone close to you dying. :(

RIP!

Is this the same Ferny who often ran coaches to Bolton away matches ?

Blonde haired lad ?

So sorry to hear this tragic news.

Any fellow Bolton fan is a friend of mine.

Thoughts go to his family and friends at this sad time.

RIP

I'm reading this but I'm finding it hard for it to sink in. I knew him very well and went to many away matches with him, the latest one being Yeovil this season.

He was one of those fans that went to every game home and away including pre-season friendlies. He was Bolton Wanderers through and through.

My thoughts go out to Veronica and his family and friends.

faerny was a top bolton fan .he sorted me out with tickets &lifts

to away matches.i am gutted .my thoughts go out to his family&

friends who will miss him badly.r.i.p.fearny

Got a phone call last night, telling me of this tragic accident.

Fearny was the loyalist & most passionate bolton fan I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Been to many a game with him both home & away.

He was alway's there no matter who, or where we played.

My heart goes out to those he's left behind.

RIP Fearny (Bolton through & through)
