20-3 ffs.

Is this the one bad session that loses the Ashes?

Pathetic

Series over

McGrath is 50 next year and he's been saying all summer he'd still fancy his chances against England's top 3. He's right.

England have one of the best 5 bowlers in this match

Australia have 4

So, while England's batting has been poor, the bowling is well behind Australia without jimmy

Oz 10-1

Broad gets Warner again........

That 20 overs crap has killed England's Test match batting. It's created a line up of sloggers who can't grind out an innings at Test match level

The England test team needs a overhaul, like the ODI side after the 2015 WC and a bit like the England football team after Euro 2016 and when Southgate was in charge.

The batting simply hasn't been good enough for ages now, we have got new exciting talent in Jofra, and plenty of talented players, but the majority of them are constantly scoring low and a lot are out of form including our captain and it's not the first time this year we've failed to get to 100, wasn't long ago we couldn't even get over 100 vs Ireland.

Fourth time England have been bowled out for under 100 in a year

It’s a structural issue, no commitment to proper cricket and we’ve been found out; totally pissed off.

Happy to sell my day 1 tickets at OT

Nobody wants to watch proper cricket below test level

What do you propose

Is it not tough shit if the longer game dies?

respond tomorrow

It's not a money issue. Not so long back England were batting and bowling well.

Perhaps just a shortage of decent top order players that will rectify itself in a few years.

Maybe a bit too much emphasis on one day stuff.

Playing county championship matches either end of the season isnt helping for sure.

Well, have got two and two thirds of a third bat to score the necessary runs to keep the  Ashes alive.

Not a bastard chance.

Bookies have us at 5/1, seems a bit tight.

This would be a legendary win

Bowlers done well again this morning.

Require the second highest ever test run chase at headingley to win.

Virtually impossible, considering what we've seen so far, but it's only a third day wicket, and sunny/warm. Pitch should do a little less for the seamers, and atmosphere reduce swing.

Records are there to be broken- tmgj bringing positive attitude on a Saturday afternoon.

All the time in the world; just bat.

And pray.

Absolutely. If they keep batting, and score only moderately, the game would be over before the end of tomorrow, so hopefully no huge pitch degredation for Lyon to thrive on.

Might not threaten 67

Refined masochism

leaving the cricket to watch the football

Good effort
