Have you seen the prices Turbo trainers are going for now on EBay?

Yes, I've been looking into getting one

All the decent lower end of scale ones all sold out on the main sites

I mean he started on his bike from home rather than driving to somewhere to go mountain biking/cycling.

when we walk the dog we drive about 5 minutes to local park and take the dog out in the woods. If we walk there it takes about 20/25 minutes. We are lucky as we can go at times we know won’t be busy.

In lockdown 1 some councils blocked off car parks in parks then the rules were cleared up.

I’m lucky I walk out the door and 500 yards later I’m at the coastal path walking by the sea and on the beach

if I lived back in Bolton I would likely head up rivvy or similar which would then bring into question the local bit

it does, in that anyone from Horwich / Bolton going up Rivvy is crossing the border into Chorley / Lancashire whether on foot or bike or whatever

which is all I did from Stockport to Manchester -  most of South Manchester is closer to me than Marple, where @jules_darby lives, in Stockport, but I'm allowed to cycle there under one definition of local

But as I don’t live in Bolton and I don’t need to travel to go somewhere nice to exercise I’m not breaking the rules 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Pre xmas I was doing two 60km ish bike rides a week.

The snow and ice put paid to last week.

Can I go grouse shooting instead?

Ones that were only £250 brand new are going for circa £320 second hand.

No it’s banned. But it did keep a lot of folk in work when he allowed it to carry on a few month back. Bravo Boris

Fair enough.

Might just cut down the distance and go more often then.

He's still a dollop of shite.

You just crack on Zico

The pheasants and grouse are on furlough .

Pretty sure Olympic park is in London where he lives? Could be wrong

Just done a quick back of a fag packet type calculation, using radius, cirmunference and pii and all that shit.

Theoretically, you could do a loop of 50km and be 4km ish from home.

That's bollox. That's the area

Would be 25km ish loop

Bojo on a cycle, nah you can fuck that, it was a lookalike or a clone.

Local to me means the area you live in, i.e. you live in Radcliffe, you stay in the area of Radcliffe, no travelling by car, you either walk, run or cycle out your front door, or do some star jumps up the street and back.

The sack of shit is a quite well known cyclist. In his suit, obviously, because he's a dick

doesn't he live on Downing Street?

in any case, he lives in London, and he went cycling in London, so that's still local

If you went from Enfield to Croydon and back is that local?

You may as well ask me if you went from somewhere in buenos aries to somewhere I would have as much of a clue

and I don’t make the rules.

I just happen to stick to them.

They’re both parts of London but 22 miles apart

Fuckin hell.

All last year people were complaining at curtain twitchers not minding their own business, snowflakes and screechers being bothered about Covid police, now Zico is getting aggro for going on his bike.

The hypocrisy is incredible on here at times

Hypocrisy is criticising others and doing it yourself no?

folk are free to do whatever the fuck they want. As I’ve said I would end up at rivvy if I lived in Bolton. That would be breaking the rules. As it stands I don’t. So not sure how I’m being hypocritical?

Check the rules then I would say. I could highlight a situation in Edinburgh that encompassed a large distance as well. You could argue that was local as well.

but I don’t live in London or Edinburgh so don’t have to make that call fortunately. I can do what I need without going too far.

The rules say local but there’s no definition of local

I was saying it in response to you suggesting Boris going to the Olympic Park was fine as it was in London

Didn’t say you were. The fact that it’s become a issue that he’s “broken the rules” over going on a bike ride

How many supermarkets are breaking the rules by letting more than they should in, or people getting too close or households mixing. They’re rammed.

The amount of walkers out at the moment I see walking past my house is unbelievable.

Posing more of a risk than a bike ride where he came into contact with no one
