Not my style. I only want what's best for the club, whether that means Anderson gets millions out of it or a tenner, I don't really care. Just seems way too similar to what happened last time, right on time for payday to be pushed back again.

To be fair, Howard posted an update a few minutes before Iles tweeted about it being done in next 48 hours. That's sort of why I questioned what he'd said in the past and if it differed from what anyone else was saying, because I haven't really been here long enough to judge. 

Again, not meant to be calling anyone out, just seems strange that the 'in the know' person in the thread, posts an update minutes before a journo gets information that a sale will be done within 48 hours. Seems like something you'd want to mention in an update.

Can’t see it, no potential buyer on the sidelines would fall for that, if he’s got a buyer and it’s 2 days off he wouldn’t really risk having his shares snatched back by playing a high risk game of poker in order to flush out more money, given that the down side is he loses buyer he currently has, possibly creating a situation where his shares get snatched back by moonshift.

Potential that he tried to get more but couldn't and wants to complete with them before they take the shares?

Kind of hoping we get Howard's bidder now, even though we don't really know anything about them.

I concur. Especially if the new bidder called his bluff and reduced their offer....

The reality is that it isn't an update, it is a man pushing the blame for non-payment away from himself whilst wrapping it up in a sugar casing of 'takeover imminent'. 

 A BACS payment run would've had to have been processed by now for a Friday payment, clearly that hasn't been done.

No, emails had been sent to parties who had engaged previously, asking them to revisit, suggesting that the interest in the club would suggest they made an error in walking away.

My update also stated that "there were no issues with the sale", in direct contrast to what Nixon was saying at the time. This afternoon's announcement also confirms that there were indeed "no issues with the sale".

If Ken has decided to stop chasing other buyers and just accept the offer then great, my belief was that he would take it down to the 2nd.

Isn't it possible that a BACS payment has been processed by now in time for Friday? Just to play devil's advocate.
