Let’s hope they are all camped up in the stadium tomorrow to sort it and sign it

Hope so. It just needs to end. I’m sceptical it will tomorrow but we will see.

If that’s the case why were they camped in the stadium ready to sign the deal for club and hotel Friday until the issue cropped up?

Essentially what you are saying is that the club administrators are lying. I can see why an admin would be keen to shift blame onto others. I see absolutely nothing in it for them to assert the deal is close when it isn’t. And hoodwinking the EFL is not in an administrators portfolio either.

No, I'm not suggesting that anyone's lying at all. The last publicly released statement administrators for the hotel confirmed that they intended to hold a marketing period during which offers could be made for the business. If I remember correctly, they stated that the hotel wouldn't be sold for another 4-6 weeks as a result. I can't remember exactly when that statement was released but I seem to recall that it would mean no sale would be concluded before the start of the season. Clearly though, things might have changed since then and that might no longer be the case.

I have it on GOOD authority that fuck will happen until it’s done.

dont shoot the messenger

I don’t care how long it takes now, hardened up to all this.   If we have to wait another month to make sure KA doesn’t get what he wants then so be it, I can live with that.

How they going to price the game them I am certainly not paying 28 or 23 pound when they could potentially take my DD money in the same month if they said game on Sat is 23 quid for adults then the rest are covered by the DD which would go out in Sept then I don’t mind that otherwise your paying just under 60 pound in a month which is far too expensive

Think the general feeling is that you're there on Saturday in the same way that the players were yesterday, or you're not in the same way McGennis wasnt.

An extra 20 odd quid on the season is neither here nor there for what it will mean.

The extra 20 odd quid on the season is not the issue the issue is that if the Coventry game is 23 quid then a week later ST gets sorted and they say we will take the DD before end of August it means folk could be paying just under 60 in one month which makes it expensive for that one month.

Alternatively, normally you would've made a payment or two by now, wouldn't you

I dunno cos I pay upfront?

Anyway, just now, imo, we just get the fcuk on with it, same way as those kids did yesterday

Yeah but it’s one payment a month of course I will be there that’s if it goes ahead

Good man

At least we have the choice which has seemed unlikely on occasion

The entire premise of a new buyer is trash in my opinion. They won't even have DD on the financials. It's just yet more absolute nonsense. The deals basically there now. FV have had their cards close to their chest throughout this process. I can't see them making public appearances or promising to speak to fans Saturday, unless they were certain it would be done. There is absolutely no way the EFL would entertain another buyer at this stage.

Again, that's just my opinion, but I am absolutely bored of Nixon being given the time of day with his conspiracy theories that are the complete antithesis to the reality of the current situation. I just want this deal announced ASAP so his bull can be evidenced for all to see.

BOLTON. Takeover update. Did point out there was a rival to Football Ventures for hotel/club last week. Still live.

Would we not have heard at least something about this rival by now? I wonder if they actually exist or if they're simply a way of a creditor exerting leverage to get a better deal?

Agree with this see my post earlier no way would the EFL sanction signings if a deal would not be anywhere near you could say in that case admins have taken on a liability with contracts if there was no end in sight and they would not do that

You're doing his job for him, lots on here wouldn't have a clue about his bollocks  if people weren't constantly posting it up.

I’m amazed FV are still at the table, I’d have potted KA by now and fucked off to some other venture.. just like every other interested party have done,

Too many complications at BWFC, especially with secured creditors such as Michael James etc.

Very true but it's hard not to find it so frustrating.

Tell us more

It's PBP, not Michael James, and he's far from complicated

Give PBP their 5 million and convince MJ he will have a team to support and you wouldn't see him for dust

Like Boohoo are doing with the hotel deal? 👀

What have EDT got to do with the hotel deal?

What would have happened if we hadn’t turned out a team to play Wycombe, would we have been booted out of the EFL?

Its just nagging at me about the assurances put out Thurs/Fri and the way a team of sorts was put together so quickly.

If we hadn’t turned up and played would we have lost our status and then basically been even harder to sell, so it suited someone to play at least one game whilst the so called buy out dragged on and on...
