May 30, 20197 yr Hope it was just 1st day nerves because looks to be about 30 short and Buttler particularly did not look in good nick. The slow balls seem to bother us an awful lot. As did Tahir - but he's a good bowler.
May 30, 20197 yr Excellent performance. A bit worried when England couldn't completely dominate the SA bowling, and when they were looking steady early in their innings. That said, not sure the pitch was as easy to bat on as we might expect. Very pleasing to see England bowl so effectively though. Thought buttler looked ok, always a degree of bad luck when chopping on, but some credit must be given to the SA bowlers, good variety.
