I dipped in and out but need to watch again, all the weaponry I saw was captive training stuff to simulate being fired so they can assess who killed who afterwards. Jerry who runs the Big Jet TV thing, he's funny but fucking hell he must have recorded live from Lakenheath or Coningsby about 30 times now and he still can't get any of the technical stuff right 😆 There's been complaints from people who live close to where the F-35s are based, they've got 1 engine less than the F-15 but are twice as loud! One or two other things on pylons but again wouldn't know what they were. I assumed that some of these flights are to the Eastern border for a bit of "solidarity" and therefore they were perhaps carrying something defensive just in case. Quote

They are "real" Sidewinders but don't have a warhead or a motor in them so the sensor can still be used as if its real but it won't fire or explode. If it's got a blue stripe on it it's for training, if it's yellow it's live 😃 They must have had a load of pre discussions with Big Jet TV beforehand to arrange a day for him to roam about when they weren't doing anything out of the ordinary. I believe yesterday's stuff was all just simulated dogfights over the North Sea. The chat bar at the side of the footage was funny "THEYRE GOING TO RUSSIA!" Ha Quote
