Definitely the case, but I thought it would be a lot higher, I based figures on the scientists saying 1 in every 200 people have covid, yet we have had 1 positive in 2000.

Looks like this rona shit is slowly fucking off 🤞

Get the pubs open grey 🍺

It is worth pointing out that over 5000 people a day are still testing positive.

Thats low, right, but it’s still there, waiting for us to just start mixing again.

I still think it would be absolutely amazing if - ‘huge if - we could get that number to 1000 or 500 maybe  then treat every case like they did those Brazil variants

Spend that £37 billion on “man markers”. Every case gets a person assigned to make sure they isolate properly.

Then it’s gone. Incoming at ports can be man-marked the same way.

Justify the spend and shut cunts like me up.

Great idea

It would be easier to put testing centres in hotels. Any positives straight to a room. Negatives to the bar.

Now we're talking sense!

About half of that

Shows the increase rather well

Lad brought his two kits for next week home yesterday. All going rather swimmingly.

If take up was higher, the test numbers would be mahoosive.

Cases down week on week, despite testing most of the population every day

Expecting some smoke from the backpedaling that’s about to go on from certain folk. Scrrreeeecccchhhhh

And no I still don’t think we’ve used public money as well as we should have done. There will have been money wasted which needs to be called out. But let’s at least get the story straight. Majority of this is testing spend

Starmer and his cronies are just like the rest of the HOC and holyrood. Full of shit

£2.9billion on LFT’s??

@miamiwhite may be able to help there, but these ODX ones are a fiver each.

That means they have already bought 580million lateral flow tests.

Now I’m not saying they haven’t. But they sure haven’t bought them from any manufacturers me and Miami know about.

Thats also 16 LFT’s for every adult in the uk.

Sniff sniff

Is that saying they have spent it or have allocated budget spend to it?

What it does show , clearly , is some people on here need to wring their nappy out and save it for another day.

That’s saying already spent.

Theres a further allocation to be spent of £6billion.

If that’s true, me and Miami are about to enter a bidding war for Abromovich’s yacht.

So there is one manufacturer that can provide these tests? I’m having one Thursday I will try and remember who made the test kit and report back.

tbfI should get a test of done sort everytime I’m in Blackburn

There’ll be more than one, but the government hasn’t officially placed the chunky orders for LFT’s yet, so christ knows what they’re paying if those numbers are correct.

Starmer etc; they tend to find themselves on the wrong side of most things, it seems.

I’m just waiting for mick to come along and slate starmer for bullshitting. He will be along don’t you think? Be a few others as well no doubt along shortly.

Starmer bullshits and lies more than Bojo, there isn't one honest politician I could name, they generally just out-bullshit each other and some lie mire than others.

Is the correct answer. I’m just looking for equality 😎

Chinese shite bought so far mate. ODX have been selected as part of the £8billion one which rolls out next month. Only 3 companies selected and we are in the mix for a big slice. All on biostatistics re the deal and Omega's website.

The money spent of lft- is any of that for helping companies develop the product and get it to market in quick time?

Delivery of them here there and everywhere wont be cheap neither.

Some money is being granted to the companies mate to help development. The ones out next month have almost 100% efficacy

I did find it slightly ironic that the tests my lad brought home had NHS plastered all over them and a made in China stamp on the side.

Shocking pal, especially when the Chinese kits have a shite efficacy rate. Next month sees the game changer with the UKRTC tests rollout.
