OPEN THE PUBS BORIS YOU CUNT

My brother had his jab 4 weeks ago

He's tested positive for Covid yesterday. Poorly too.

That's not right, surely?

Sadly it can be the vaccine is not 100% effective although he is very unlucky to get a serious dose.

They've never said it's 100% efficient especially after just 1 jab, and that's another reason the Government will keep us locked down, as they'll want to be waiting until the adult population has had both jabs

Its not rocket science is it, but its seems to some people having a pint is more important. I would not be going near a pub until I had both jabs, and even then I would be in no rush

He's a bit baffled as he's particular about social distancing as they have a daughter in the house who is shielding.

Not good.

Interesting

my french is pretty good, but from many moons ago.

However, there is an entry in the urban dictionary;

Quelle Dommage;

someone who had been fully vaccinated for COVID and brags about it

Mine used to be decent, but not had the chance to practice it for about 2 years.

I assumed you were saying "quel dommage" as in French for "that's a shame"

Anyway, you're probably far better at French than I am, I struggle with speaking England proper, never mind foreign languages 🙂

Did he have any arm soreness or other post jab symptoms like others reported?

As these are signs that the body is having a response to the vaccine and producing antibodies, I'm curious as to whether he had any.

He said he felt a bit rough after the jab.

He also had covid in October.

It seems to like him.

unlucky getting it twice, one of our friends is a Nurse, she's just got it for a second time. She initially had it last August and has just tested positive again a few days ago, she's not feeling ill, but she's tested positive, so she's off the wards and back home for a while. She's had her first jab about 5 or 6 weeks ago.

Finished work on Tuesday. Got 11 days off before I start training for a new job.

My 8 year old has been sent home today for 10 days because someone in his classes has tested positive 🤦‍♂️

Oh happy fkin days

Isn't this back to the issue of whether or not vaccinated folk can still transmit the virus?

Not get ill, but still harbour it to a degree. Iirc evidence suggests transmission reduced but not necessarily down to zero.

or hes not actually got it

Says it is. Cough, loss of smell etc..

Hes self employed and no skiver so not great for him

Just had my jab, at Elland Road brilliant set up. Sad I know but I was quite emotional.

I honestly wasn't suggesting he was

Just not convinced what these tests can sometimes identify as c19

Which one?

I see Ursula is ratcheting up the rhetoric.

I have a feeling that there won't be many getting the Pfizer one.

Mine on Saturday, wife on Friday.

Barring a monumental fuckup, I expect yesterday to be the last triple-figure day for deaths

530k jabs done yesterday, that's basically double what we did last week
