Prison food

Prison food is cup noodles with a tin of tuna plonked in.

And use the tin lid to craft a shank and use it to take with menaces a packet of chocolate digestives off a weaker inmate for 'afters'.

Hyacinth Bucket (pronounced 'Bouquet') - she was of scum of the earth stock but had massive delusions of grandeur.

Rose, Onslow, Daisy and her doddery crazy scruffy father she referred to as 'Daddy' were the evidence of her scummy roots she couldn't shake off.

Hilarity would ensue.

Usually ending in her true prole origins being revealed and her posh hat being asquiff...

Salmon pasta has moved to tomorrow night as neither of us can be bothered today so its takeaway curry tonight.

Day of work and scutter food.

You’re opinion is that they are shit.

Dunns River do tins of Gungo Peas in the world aisle that I buy now and then to make vegetarian stuff and they are similar to black peas.

In takeaway news me and one of the kids got a Toby Carvery delivered at weekend, is that acceptable or is that sinking to a new low ?

I went for one once, not my choice, it was a frien...An acquaintance's choice.

I like a bargain so I went along thinking you could just help yourself and eat as much as you like, so my cheapskate side overruled my snob side.

Wrong - you got what you were given and no more.

There was however bottomless soft drinks on tap, so loads of sugared/caffeine-ed up kids running amok.

It was rammed, people were actually waiting for tables, where we 'ate' was kitted out like a faux medieval banqueting hall. Which was ironic as those dining looked like serfs/peasants.

How Richard didn’t sock her in the mouth is incredible. Should’ve thrown her body in the compost bin by the 3rd episode.

Surely it’s you’re a pinion

No tater hash, no black peas...is Spider even from Bolton we ask ourselves.

She catered to his adult baby fetish, including changing his shitten up nappy. She enabled his peccadilloes so he tolerated her pretensions - Quid Pro Quo.

What does Gordon Brown think of them?

He's from The East Side Of Great Lever Park aka 'Compton'...

I'm from The West Side aka 'Bel Air'.

I know the type, from Halliwell but claim Smithills...

I always used to be baffled as a kid as to why those houses with the little bridges over Barrow Bridge stream always seemed to be up for sale, sold then back up for sale after about three weeks...

I vowed I'd live in one as a kid (as an adult, not like Josh in 'Big') - preferably the last one with the big side garden.

As young teenagers we went up there camping, we tramped all over the place toward Winter Hill etc. looking for somewhere remote to camp, we must've doubled back at some point - it was getting dark and we thought we were in the middle of nowhere so made camp in some wooded copse, made a massive fire then generally made merry with ale, cider, dope, acid and cigarettes - and using flaming torches to periodically hunt for more firewood, loudly shouting/talking - we even danced in a circle around the fire making Red Indian whoops...

After a whole night of loud debauchery dawn revealed our true location, in the fading light the night before and after walking in circles for miles, the 'middle of nowhere' we settled on was a small wooded strip between a golf course and Barrow Bridge Road.

I have no idea to this day why residents didn't ring the police or challenge us themselves.

Mrs Sweep likes to make Rumbledethumps.....lovely they are, but it's pretty much just peasant food (spuds, cabbage, onions and cheese boshed together)...so I'm expecting Spider wouldn't approve

What the fuck are rumplestiltskins when they are at home? Never heard of them

He's Britain's Greatest Ever Cunt because he cashed in this Giant Whisky Bottle filled with £1 Coins they had in Number 11.

And he called some old bag who chucked a cat in a wheelie-bin and who referred to black folk as 'darkies', well he called her a 'Bigoted Woman', he could've called her a lot worse.

Halliwell, Smithills...all the same really.

I had a friend at Primary school who lived in one of those - the large one at the end of the row - the mill owners house. Very nice it was too.
