When at large on the continent get wankered on similarly priced wine (as here).

Noticeably less negative after effects.

The wine we get is invariably sulphite-laden piss - due to the extortionate taxes levied here, 3rd only to Finland and Ireland.

I've been to gatherings in the past where the beer choice was solely Budweiser...

I've ended up supping actual woman drinks rather than that piss.

Gin, Vermouth, Prosecco etc.

I always say 'never trust a man who doesn't drink, but trust even less the Budweiser drinker'.

I always presume some drink it to stay sober, in order to successfully execute their date-rapes later in the evening.
