Seven Pounds fucking Fifty! It was the cost of a round that inspired the idea of nicking some jewels.

Went back and found Spoons more because pubs were dull than price.

January 22, 20242 yr 60 quid train, 20 for taxis, whatever the tube cost which is why match ticket prices wouldn't be something that put me off going

January 22, 20242 yr 22 minutes ago, DirtySanchez said: Could you have drunk in a pub any more further away from the ground? We walked out of Euston, passed by St Pancras/Kings Cross and up the road to Islington. Had a beer or three, a chat then jumped on the tube to Leyton and went to the game. Kind of much the same as getting on the tube at Euston, heading to Leyton and then ‘trying’ to find an away-friendly pub. The difference is, the way we did it meant there was nothing hit and Miss about pub selection. Walk in a pub miles away from your eventual destination means you’re never going to be turned away.

January 22, 20242 yr We walked to Holborn from Euston (1 mile) as we wanted to stretch our legs after nearly 3 hours on the train down.... Went in to 4 pubs - The Ship/Philomena's/Prince of Wales & The George.... There's 3 of us, each round cost about £20...... Direct tube from Holborn to Leyton.... Didn't bump in to any of the AHM or the Munchkins until we were in the ground....
