I’ll go against the grain here - I quite like her take on things, from the little I’ve heard.

However I’ll hold my hands up and say I’m far from an avid TalkSport listener so I stand to be corrected or talked down.

I’ve found myself listening a bit more these last few weeks as you know you are bound to get 24/7 news on the Euros.

I’ve taken it in small doses for the precise reason I stopped listening as my go to station 15 years plus ago - it’s largely sensationalist views for clicks, smattered with the ex-pros who think they have all the answers.

So when you’ve heard Gabby bleating about him knowing best, criticising players from 1-11, calling the manager fit to burn, telling us that the players and managers will do better because they’ll listen to their advice and anger on TalkSport from Germany 🤣

… It makes a refreshing change to hear someone who’s closer to the manager and squad back them and fight their corner.

Like I say it’s a small sample size, but she’s talked more sense to me than some of the clap-trap I’ve heard from the other guys on there.

I listened to 606 for about 10 mins last night, then Talksport's phone-in for 10 mins, then stuck some tunes on. Both those phone-ins are insufferable
