The guy shot dead was interviewed earlier carrying an AK47.

Witnesses say he fired 5 times at the vehicle before the driver responded and shot him dead.

Very sad state of affairs over there and needs sorting quickly.

It was meant to be a joke. He posted to me earlier, and has before, that protesters should be dealt with using water cannons, a baton charge & finished off with a taser. So my 'snide comment' was just meant to take the piss out of that. Never met Bolty before, but I'm sure he's a lovely fella, & that joke wasn't intended to suggest otherwise.

Can recognise it was too far though & apologise if I've caused offense. Especially to Bolty personally.

As for my job -  it's a football forum mate. Things get heated & taken out context in this section. Teachers are allowed to be childish outside of work or even be a prick sometimes without it representing who they are on a Monday. Had nothing but good rapport & respect from parents & I certainly don't agree with teaching children what to think. So Miami can rest assured I'm not 'indoctrinating' anyone.

I am completely over all of the over egged BLM shite virtue signalling/brainwashing/social engineering but still sickened that none of his colleagues pushed that cop off George Floyds neck even if he was a less than pleasant career criminal. Black America has given me far too much pleasure and satisfaction during my life not to want there to be an end to blatant injustice. The US is fucked though - I have no idea how any right minded person can in any way equate the situation over there to the tolerant UK. I think that's pretty well put. There's plenty of folk on the left failing to recognise that you can disagree with the politics of BLM but still want justice for those discriminated against in the US & for George Floyd, regardless of his criminal convictions. Reality was he was still someone's son, brother, father & friend.

My comment was tasteless mate - gets worse the more I look at it & it's fair enough someone calling it out. But I appreciate others on here recognising the context & attempt at humour, or acknowledging the apology👍

As annoying as some can be when they take to the streets, I don't particularly want to live in a country where that is the go to policing response. But like most comments on here , I take it with a pinch of salt & accept it's part of the banter.
