We don’t have to understand what others are going through, but we do need to stick together and keep loving each other no matter what our differences might be. To help out instead of walking by or made a smart arse comment. From helping out people to giving weekly to a foodbank to being a better brother, partner and manager, every bit of helping someone else, made me feel better. Got me through last year. It may sound like hippy rubbish, but it really helps not only other people but yourself. I guess that's why I bite when people post defending Trump, questioning feeding schoolkids or booing people taking a knee at a football match. Strip away some of he hate, where the hell is it getting you? Why can't you try and see it from the other side? Be more kind, my friends, try to be more kind. Great posts. There’s still some who have this in-built prejudice against those in public services, in particular ; teachers, fire service, police and NHS. All though this year more than ever has turned some people’s thoughts. Like any proportion of society there’s a small % who aren’t professional. But from my experiences of spending far too much time with my family sitting beside hospital beds, the highest proportion of nurses fall into the category of; committed, empathetic, caring and hardworking professionals who do a fantastic job of looking after their patients. Patients often offer up their newspapers to staff after they've read them.
