He literally said, in this first speech, that they would be rehomed permanently in neighbouring countries. I just showed it to you and you've completely ignored it 😂

Now he's doubling down and rambling on about how Palestinians will live there alongside the 'world's people'. Israel's government have spoken openly about wanting to build more Israeli settlements there. Doesn't take sherlock to realise who he means by the world's people.

Gaza doesn't belong to the US & it isn't for them to decide what to do with it.

And who the fck is Lauren Lee ? Trump is 'ending the war in Gaza and restoring the land'. Christ almighty 😁 what a load of shite. Have you seen her anti-vax conspiracy stuff a few posts down?

How on earth do you find these people?

I keep asking you a question and you keep avoiding it, when has he said he will not allow Palestinians back in? it wasn’t in his first speech that you keep referring to that’s fir sure. You’re just guessing aren’t you.

Another question you keep avoiding is where do you suggest  the locals go whilst all this work is carried out? I’m all ears.

Finally I have no clue who she is. I’m not sure why you’re bothered 🤷🏻

Christ almighty

I've just posted his comments where he says they should leave permanently. That means they don't come back, if you are unsure of what leaving permanently actually means. 😂

I'm not avoiding any questions. I can't speak for the whole population of Gaza and what their plan is. It's their land and it is for them to decide. here's what some of them want to do.

https://edition.cnn.com/2025/02/05/middleeast/palestinians-refuse-trump-suggestion-gaza-intl/index.html

Why do you support a plan that allows the US to take land that doesn't belong to them?

Have you watched the clips of his speech or are you going off the link you posted?

Here’s what some of them want to do” 😂 didn’t I post a link to what some others wanted to do? I don’t think they will have much choice, the whole place practically needs to be flattened and rebuilt. Try and think of it from a rebuilding point of view. They need to go somewhere. Somewhere safe, why would you support people staying in a dangerous area?

I wouldn’t say I’m supporting any plan, but what the Don has said (working with numerous other countries whilst rebuilding the area and at the same time moving Palestinians temporarily to a safe area) is probably the best option.

Not really proportionate though is it? Killing thousands of innocent civilians and totally flattening the whole area.

I know, it would have been a lot less messy and easier for Israel if the baddies didn’t hide behind civilians, probably the very people that voted them. Strange how things work out ain’t it.

Yes I’ve watched the links

He said he wants to take over Gaza

That’s not the right fckn option 😂 which is why every other neighbouring nation, all of Europe & the UK have dismissed it.

If you think it’s the best option, then you’re supporting it. Bonkers

Rebuilding an area with other countries for Palestinians and others is what he has said. Let’s see if all the other countries dismiss it when it comes to the rebuild and they’re asked to help.

A yes or no question for you, so no need to go off on your usual tangent.

Is it practical to have 2 million refugees in an area you’re trying to rebuild?

I'm keeping an open mind to all this. It sounds bonkers on paper - but 80 odd years of diplomacy doesn't seem to have worked, and I doubt another 80 will either.

It's going to need something radical. And whilst this idea makes me feel a bit uncomfortable - if it was done properly it might just work itself out. That's a huge if.

FWIW - I don't think anything will come of it in its present form - because all the stakeholders seem dead against it, bar Trump and Israel.

But Gaza is gone as it stands and it will take the best part of a decade to put it right.

The sensible voice of the left. Sadly eclipsed by the number of screechers.

Another yes or no question 😂

Nothing in this is going to be practical. The place has been annihilated with only 30% of buildings remaining.

But your constant misinterpretation of Trump’s plan is laughable. He’s clearly said that he wants to open it up to Israeli settlements & move Palestinians out permanently, yet you’ve completely ignored that.

Why do you think the US has any right to take over ? Palestinians don’t want or trust their input. It’s up to them to decide whether to leave, or stay & rebuild.

Aye all those women & children who voted Hamas 🙄

Support for Hamas was at 30 odd % when the bombs started.

Another bonkers post to justify the situation

So you must obviously think it’s practical. Bonkers.

They have no right to take over, but they always end up doing it, a Quick Look back at recent conflicts will show that.

Finally

In a nutshell

And why every other country has completely dismissed it.

I just said in my last post that none of this was practical, and you’ve gone and said the opposite.

You’re really struggling to read the basics on here 😂

But they do. It’s what happens. And then other countries will back them.

Crazy that you agree something isn’t practical yet support it. Very odd.

I suppose that’s you in a nutshell

What the fck are you talking about ?

You’ve just started plucking statements out of thin air & suggested that’s what I’m thinking 😂

Doesn’t matter if that’s what ‘they do‘. It’s not their land & it’s for the Palestinians to decide. In a nutshell.

Surely you’re not that thick. You have said that’s it’s not practical yet you want them all to return to a war zone? what’s wrong with you?

A little tale as an aside.

Company I used to work for made and factored super glues.

Got a call from an oil rig. They needed help with a worker who had been using some, and went for a piss.

Stuck his hand to his old man! :)

If you knew this, then why did you post that Hamas were hiding behind the people who probably voted for them?

What’s wrong with me 😂😂 Classic

You’ve just made another load of shite up that I didn’t say.

I’ll say it again

It’s for the Palestinians to decide what to do. Not Donald Trump. The US aren’t the only ones who can help rebuild. And why the fck would Palestinians support one of the most pro Israel presidents the US has ever had to put their interests first? The same guy who removed sanctions on Israeli extremists on his first day in power.

No other significant countries or international bodies are supporting this solution. But you keep telling us it’s a great plan, and if we point out it’s shite, then we’re just thick & wanting them to live in a war zone 😂

Thats my opinion. But I’ll let you twist in whatever weird & wonderful way you like ❤️

Bit like here.

They did vote them in initially despite their obvious priorities.

It doesn't alter the fact that Hamas launched the attack, and had to be dealt with.
