Of course, away support was phenomenal, no questioning that, but 4,700 home fans is poor.

It did make me wonder how they survive with the better supported teams bringing in much more gate income. Obviously bigger infrastructure overheads but probably not playing staff and backroom staff costs.

It was a great day out though. Food stalls,  beer tents,  no insistence from police or stewards the two club's supporters weren't in the same place at the same time...

And a fireworks display! 

Oh,  away from the stadium and no massive queue.  I was dropping my lad off at home at 8.45 and we stopped for 20 minutes. 

Yeah, fireworks for beating a struggling Bolton team 1-0
