had a look at the set list from the last couple of nights

one or two surprises in there but a couple I've not seen him do live before as well

and then a number of favourites

so yep, could be a belter - splashed out on decent seats too, coudn't be bothered with standing

O'Malley's Bar off 'Murder Ballads' is my choice for my funeral service. When my coffin dissappears behind the curtains.

Just imagining everyone thinking what the fuck as the lyrics/poetry of a mass killing echo around the crematorium as I have the last laugh at the Robbie Williams, Michael Jackson, Bon Jovi loving family and friends.

I reckon Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds tonight was as good as gigs get. Struggling to come up with anything that tops it. Phenomenal stuff.

Yeah, that was honestly one of the best gigs I've ever been to. Some show tonight.

Yep

Seen him 3 times before but that was next level

Jubilee Street was immense

I love the way they ramped up the older stuff

Thought White Elephant was a great one to end on too, those backing singers were great

Yeah Jubilee Street sounded heavier than ever before. Mercy Seat and Tupelo were fucking epic. Into my arms at the end was special. Tempted to try and get to another date on the tour.

Aye, Tupelo definitely up there with the best of them

Not normally a fan so much of arena gigs, go out of necessity, but him and QOTSA were both ace there

Was also funny

When all the band and singers went off after the second song of the encore

Loads of folk started to do one

So he had to ask everyone to stop leaving as he was doing the last song on his own

The sound was great last night and I think that's normally a complaint people have about the arena. I enjoyed BC, NR too even though it was all completely new stuff apart from Nancy tries to take the night which I've seen them do before.

Definitely seems to have improved; perhaps they've had to up their game since Co-Op Live opened

gutted i missed it- equally gutted that i was offered two tickets for the Libertines tonight for free, and had to say no as its the lads birthday; little shit is training until 945 as well!

Richard Ashcroft next May with @DirtySanchez

along with all his Oasis support gigs, in the middle of them, he's heading up his own gig along with The Zutons (will watch them) and The Futureheads (won't bother)

randomly, it's at Stevenage's ground

Corrs/Natalie Imbruglia on Monday at the Arena then Laura Jane Grace (Against Me lead singer) in Leeds 2 weeks today.

I did have Space and House of Love tickets in Liverpool but gave them to my ex after we broke up.

Not booked anything for next year but looking at Gogol Bordello/Dropkick Murphys at the Academy in February.

Massive Wagons at Wax And Beans tomorrow afternoon.

Therapy?, SiM, Vola and Pitchshifter later in the month, first time at the Co-Op for Slipknot in December.

So far only got tickets for Four Year Strong and Slam Dunk for next year

The Gogol/Dropkick Murphys gig is one I'd forgotten about. Followed Gogol Bordello for years and the gig in Leeds earlier this year was brilliant.

Libertines at Albert Hall tonight were fantastic. I'm convinced they oversell that venue though. Been to a few sold out gigs there and it always feels stupidly packed.

Gogol Bordello are brilliant American Wedding is a cracking tune.

Mrs is going to try getting us in as press so she can interview GB.

Sprints were great this week. Could properly handle a bigger venue

Throwing Muses over here next May.

Pastel again in March

SiM tonight we're fantastic, Therapy? Last night was excellent. Need a night in tomorrow to recover. I'm too old for back to back gigs

I'm at Academy 3 for the Been Stellar gig tonight. Bought tickets coz their first album is decent, I haven't been to a gig up here for years BUT mainly because Cardinals were supporting. Cardinals are fucking class. Saw them in the basement at Yes a few months ago but they're playing in he pnk room there in January. 2 Cork band gigs early next year for us. Cardinals in January then Sultans of Ping in Glasgow in Feb.
