March 9, 20224 yr I heard Dan Snow on the radio the other week, he’s part of , or at least was with the expedition saying how they were hoping to find it etc probably means there’ll be a documentary around it soon enough.

I’ve been listening to it on his History Hit podcast. Shackleton’s adventures were just immense and the story of the expedition is amazing. Guess that any doc would be on his History Hit TV initially?

I’m just not up with “ it” and presume if I hear a tv presenter he must be making a tv program , I forget there’s loads of other stuff now! right about the adventures, all without any of the modern warm clothing or navigation equipment at a time when it was a colder place too , bob hats, oil skin jackets, extra pair of socks , grow a beard and off you go ! different breed

March 9, 20224 yr I can't imagine they'd be able to raise it but it would be amazing to see if they did. We tied in an away trip to Portsmouth a few years ago, with a wander around the Mary Rose. I could have spent the whole day in there.
