This is some team, truly incredible, times to savour.

Looks likely to be among the highest aggregate scores for a 5 day test, the highest if Pakistan win.

I think it was Cyril Washrook who said summat like; the art of winning is make the other feel that they can’t win.

Pakistan now favourites.

But even if we lose, what Baz and Stokesy are doing is fantastic. 

Changing the face of test cricket won’t happen overnight. We may have to lose and learn to get there.

It was a fine balance of how many to leave them to chase to make it a game.

Anyone who criticises them must have wanted England to play out for a boring draw.

I’m not criticising, and they’ve got me out of my warm bed at 05.00, but did they declare a little early and within the context of a 3 match series a draw isn’t a bad result. I know they came back v S Africa. Would they give Australia such an opening early in the Ashes?

Just a general observation.

All your points valid. In retrospect we can look back and say maybe this, maybe that. 

Your earlier post talked about how incredible this team now is and times To savour.

Both teams having a chance to win when so many runs have been scored is a credit to test cricket - and England in particular

How often do you see the entire field surrounding the batsman?
