January 28, 20242 yr Believe at one point England were 20-1 to win the game, probably when we were 5 down in our second innings. Today was pure theatre. I actually stated to a few mates that even if we lost I wouldn’t be too fussed as we’d shown some bottle and backbone. In the past we’d have lost by an innings and had our bellies tickled in our second innings. And to some point, we did until Pope came to the crease. It does annoy me how the Indian crowds go wild even when they’ve only hit a single.
