  1. Bit dramatic. I'm not talking about kids travelling though, I'm talking about folks in their 40s who have built a life over here through work, not backpacking, who wouldn't go back to Australia - or people married and looking to start a family. As I say, I think there might be an element of the grass is always greener, both ways. But ultimately for me, it'd feel a bit too flung to the far reaches of the world, with a climate that I'd mostly not like and too far away from family and friends.
  2. I have - although I'm not a huge game player, these games seem to need about 100 hrs just to really get into them nowadays. But the agency I worked for before did all the media for Bethesda so we got freebies from time to time. I did a few hours on Fallout 4 and the look and feel is very similar, the whole concept though is great though, it shows with this and The Last of Us the creativity in the gaming world in terms of storytelling.
  3. Enjoying Fallout on Amazon Prime.
  4. Yeah rain has gone and lovely fresh spring sunshine now
  5. See, I can't really comment on moving there as I've never been but the idea of even visiting Australia isn't appealing to either my or the mrs - don't know why, just never has. As for living there, I miss my family anyway and I'm only 250 miles away, the thought of being on the other side of the world and my folks missing out on a lot of their grandchildren's lives doesn't really hold much appeal. I know people who have done it and love it, others have moved back once they started families - or the other way round if they met someone from Australia over here. I also know some Aussie's who moved over here through work and you wouldn't get them back to Australia if you tried.
  6. Anatomy of a Fall - that's quite good - although bit intense so not one for an after work chill out watch, and despite the wigs BlackBerry about the rise and fall of the company is a decent view
  7. Just starting spitting and windy but really mild here.
  8. Not really - just reading the Master and Margarita, been on the must read for a long while.
  9. I often think that someone actually travelled into the future to write this, it's way too close the truth. Totally fucking Mexico.
  10. Yeah they're teenagers, or course they're idiots.
  11. No, it was on in the background, and then I saw a scene on Googlebox
  12. Because the kids watched it over Easter of an evening whilst I do what I normally do and read when they have control or the remote. Ghastly stuff.
  13. It was awful- tv for idiots
  14. Nothing else to add other than I reckon we'd win these games if Evatt admitted male pattern baldness and shave his head.
  15. I've a mate from uni who is a Portsmouth fan - loves to gloat when they win, so if nothing else I'd like to avoid the WhatsApp group messages.
  16. Put an R in front and you've got a hard-core bloody steak eaters alliance.
  17. Stop it, you'll confuse him with any sort of nuance.
  18. I'd like to know what he defines 'our culture' as, because I suspect we'd have very differing opinions on what makes up British Cultural values.
  19. Looks great that- Really like Lanterns on the Lake
  20. Going onto other forums? How very retro of you.
  21. I thought he was sharp as a tack. Ran rings out of most on here, and very funny with it.
  22. Escobarp, that's the fella. We've had some characters pass through the WW saloon doors that's for sure.
  23. The Borough of Camden is quite big though - although I can't say I've ever quaffed champers. I did once get red stripe chucked on my head in the electric ballroom watching I Am Kloot however.
  24. Who was the bloke who seemed to be a car salesman in Edinburgh and went on about doing loads of coke and shagging behind his other half's back? Used to do this..😎.. after every brainfart he had?
