Wigan player gets put in the naughty corner "The Rugby Football League have handed Wigan Warriors forward Gareth Hock a five-match suspension after the 24-year-old was found guilty of grabbing the referee's arm and acting 'contrary to the true spirit of the game'. Hock will miss Wigan's remaining Super League games against Hull FC, Catalans Dragons, Wakefield Trinity Wildcats, Leeds Rhinos and St Helens. Hock, who was also fined ?500, was sent off by referee Ian Smith in the 74th minute of the 34-4 home defeat to Huddersfield Giants on Friday. Now I know Wigan's not the best of places to live, but in the last 10 days I've heard of 3 suicides in the local area. Are more people seeing suicide as an escape these days or did I just not notice when I was younger?
