Apparently the club made it optional for players to come to this event and only Steinsson elected to turn up.

Actually, it was quite quiet today when I went out to Starbucks at lunch, so if the players had turned up they'd have not been kept busy.

Unfortuately its true. Megson said originaly that the fun day couldnt be a sat or a sun as hi players wouldnt be attending at weekends.

This morn when ask who as attending he said he didnt know as he had told the players about it but he had left it upto themselves f thy wanted to go!!!!!!!

Steinson turned up 1 and a quarter hours late!! Davies then turned up a further 40 mins late. Once Davies turned up Steinson left!!

It is a very poor show. Nolan as gone down in my estimation after all this a big thank to the fans bollocks!!!

Tony Kelly jumped into sign a few but I know he thought it was a joke!!

Megson and his players need to realise what this club.

Wigan had a shirt signing event a couple of weeks ago and none of their players turned up,so it could have been worse.

 

Whoever let it be advertised on the website that Muamba and Elmander plus others would show up,without knowing whether they would or not is at fault really.

 

Fair play to Steinsson and Davies showing up.It would have been more difficult for those two having to do it on their own.

I think the club made a decent effort on putting things on for the kids, however the no show from the players is inexcusable, if it is true that megson gave the players the option of whether to go or not he should be made to publicly apologise,anyhow well done to steinson and davies for showing up, shame on the rest of the big time charlies.
