    Wolves

so 1200 of us, it will be a fun walk back to cars afterwards if we nick a last minute winner. although from what i have seen most wolves fans seem to have given up already.
  4. well said satan, what is she is missing is the stuff that people did nt have to do. the sunderland squad did not need to stop off on the way to blackburn, the blckburn fans did not need to join in singing FMs name, the young lad at the moscow derby did not need to make a sign. a bit like saying it is dead easy to be cynical and criticise others for 'just' doing the right thing and she totally misses the point that what has made this incident special is that in a game that makes multi millionaires out of young men and the games centres arround who is richest and rivalries have built up over years that when the moment came all that was stripped away and the millionaires become people, the rivalries were shelved and a in a country where the headlines in many of thir rival papers is about how immigrants and asylum seekers are ruining the country that the real story of a refugee has brought people together, it wont last because people move on but in trying to cheapen and lessen the impact she has shown herself to be even more like the headline grabbing celebrity whore i daresy she despises !
  5. lets have some balance, united players and fans observed a minutes applause at the wolves game. now i bet there are loads of people who have been surprised/amazed by the level of reaction to the FM incident. rather than wondering what the editor of something i would never read may or may not be trying to say do nt let that take away from how 99% of people have reacted, how club, players, management and fans have pulled together. if you go on a lot of sites now there are people saying it is had been an incredible story but now it is time to focus on something else, as sad as it maybe the fact FM has made such an incredible recovery is now old news, the long weeks/months he has ahead trying to get back to some normality will only be rememberred by those closest to him. as a club gartside is talking about sticking by him , i hope the fans do the same and remember singing his name at games for the rest of the season is not about being king of the mourners it is about supporting one of our own. if other people can not see that wont worry me, i wont be doing for them.
  6. It is the hope that kills you.
  7. i did the the prediction thingy and even with wolves winning this one i have them going down. this is a game we can afford to 'only' draw they must win
  8. It was Simon I recognised from school, which given people were joshing about his age, worried me as he was year below me. He missed a penalty in the charity week 5 a side tournment for his side and then i scored mine to knock his team out, my last succes as a footballer.
  9. i like any manager who gets wolves in bottom 3.
  10. Ricketts was interviewed after the game and said normally you are focussed on the game so the crowd does not affect you, however yesterday he said they did make a difference. I would guess a much higher % than normal were there at final whistle than normal yet people still feel the need to have a go at other people I still do not get it.
  11. if the other persons insurance allows for any other driver you can. you might get the date changed for free, just say they must have misheard on the phone/could nt read you handwriting etc etc
  12. So are you saying that if something that has happened had nt happened then things would be different ?
  13. i really do not get why fans think they should judge other fans each to their own. i stayed and clapped today, but for a night game getting off the car park before the buses means i get home about half an hour earlier than if i get stuck. if i need to get off so i watch last couple of minutes on the tvs why does it matter to anyone else ? if someone goes down early and misses a goal, who has lost out ? and why is anyone else bothered ?
  14. i see the point you are making but what is it this experiment that is travelling at the speed of light. paul robinson can lump the ball but quite that quick.
  15. eh ? we have all played different teams so the comparison is nonsense. qpr have the top 5 still to play
  16. both nun runners in case anyone backed them and just checked the winners
  17. read through this thread any young uns out there. as you get older you regret a lot more things you did nt do than things that you did. i dare say we have all made mistakes in our lives but the things you regret are the things you did not do. this is the wanderersways fact of the day.
  18. just seen the blackburn fans singing FMs name so fair play to some of them.
  19. i did worry that we would nt find anything to complain about today. i have no problem with anyone who chooses to leave early, turn up late, spend parts of the game under the stands etc etc. today i was in my seat early, watched the whole game and stayed to clap the players off....but so what ?
  20. I find it strange that people are talking about us staying up and fabrice recovering almost as either or options. One is more important than the other but we do not have the option of trading one for the other., but we can have both
  21. But Speedo was not playing for us when he died and if you ask people to name the cluds he was most associated with I doubt we would be in top three (Leeds, Newcastle and Everton above us) FM has actually had a miracle escape, This last week has gone from the lowest of lows to quite a high at the moment, not sure why we would retire his shirt when he is sat up talking and laughing in a hospital bed in London.
  22. Retiring the shirt is the most ridiculous thing I think I have ever heard.
  23. Maybe be when we score they can play 'we are family'http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2LL9WcScLeU&feature=fvst better than the original
  24. I wonder how many Spurs players want to play the game. I for one will stand and applaud their players at the Reebok. I also think in response to the respect shown by their fans on Saturday Bolton should make a significant gesture for the league game, even going as far as providing their tickets for free or donating the ticket money to a charity that helps screening amongst young people. The League is massive for both teams in a footballing sense but in many ways irrelevant.
