  1. So are you on the Belgrade trip Siz??
  2. Bringing back an old thread but paid up today and will be there plus 1. Its gonna be one to remember I reckon.
  3. Yes - happy days Smiffs. That night I remember having to kip in a park all night in Brusells piss wet through from the water... I dont fancy the water canons in Belgarde though.
  4. I expect you will get some on here contesting the above but personally I would agree with you. There came a time for me when I sat down at the end of a season a few years ago and counted how many games I actually enjoyed and how many I didnt - and it was something like attended 17 home games and enjoyed 2. Then I realised that turning out for most home games was no longer for me. I could go into reasons why I didnt enjoy the games but each and every issue has already been discussed to death on here and elsewhere.
  5. The 9.05 into Heathrow was also a bad one - we thought it was a pissed up pilot but it must have been the weather. There was afew on that who said it was their worst landing.
  6. Ditto, I went on Tursday, will be going on Wednesday then over to Munich next week. Yesterday's game just didnt appeal and nowadays I dont feel obliged to go to games like I used to. I expect hlaf of the people who will be in Munich did'nt attend yesterday's game.
  7. Yeh Ginger and Josh with me.

Theres no point in being concerned over tickets - if you want in you'll get in.. having been when England played in Munich and won 5.1 many lads 'got in free' and the ground was fairly easily jibbed if you went at the right time.
  9. Me plus two....out of manc direct - 7.00 wednesday morning on lufthansa. back to manc 9.oo on friday via London - not looking foward to the return at the time!
  10. Hit the nail on the head there Smiff - it's that simple. I'd struggle to add anything else to that.
  11. Dear oh dear - there was a time when large unruly groups of kids went to football together and behaved like d!cks throughout the match, and the 'events' of last night wouldnt have raised an eyebrow... now it's 2007 - twenty years has passed since this was common place and theres uproar - drop the word chav in and theres the common enemy - what a load of sh!te. Kids should be able to go to go the game and do what the hell they want - whether that be smoking, drinking, throwing beer about, shouting, swearing - once upon time that would be ok - now they might 'upset the families' - absolute rubbish. More kids for a quid for games like this I say.
  12. just had a stroll around Manchester and saw a few groups of Larissa lads knocking around - but no Rabotnicki. Maybe they're drinking around Bradshawgate - any sightings??
  13. Friday 19th oct for me - sounds ok.
  14. Yeh , went this time two years ago and was impressed. Stayed near the train station but I cant remember the name of the gaff, a decent main square with a few bars in and off it, and a few decent bars off the river side streets. The beer and food was spot on and theres a few beer kellers dotted about. Despite trying our best - the brass was hard to come by - a few dodgy Turkish types around the streets to the far side of the station - which is the Arab bit - and that was it. Oh, and theres a Burberry and Daks shop just off the sqaure if you fancy buying some check.
  15. Can we start a thread who's not going (to make me feel better).
  16. Bratislava? Your brave.... of the four of us who went there when England played Slovakia, each one of us agreed it was the worst places we'd visited - absolute sh!thole. Vienna was good the other year though - and free entry to the ground can be gained via an 'open' fire exit.
  17. Its been up there a while mate - I put it up whne Bolton played there frinedly there two summers ago.
  18. yes - gonna have mine there next year... sounds alright.
  19. Ok , enough of the bragging... I take it you'll need to be in the Class Room when we'll be enjoying the UEFA cup away(s)??
  20. Been up watching Hibs six times in the past five years and never had any problem with 'em - quite the opposite, even some of the chaps who used to go down with United. However, I think their outlook may be a bit different next month. Unfortunately, I'm away that week so cant make it.
  21. Blackburn and Walsall were good games and days out.. Arsenal at home in cup was also enjoyable.

Got off the tube at Whitechapel and walked out into the street... though they'd name the place with tongue firmly in cheek. Having been to many places in London in the last five years I thought I knew how sh!te the place has really got.. yesterday it went down another notch in my estimations.. East London?? Dont make me laugh. The only pale faces were in the pub, the only pale faces around Upton Park were going to the game... some of the b@stards who did a number on our minibus on the way home...but thats another story.
  23. If anyone wants a ticket, PM me - I have a spare - also a spare minibus seat if it's anyone who know me... (5.30 set off tho).
