Did any of his hundreds of links work? Largely redundant now with pornhub and the like around but fair play to the lad, his knob must have resembled corned beef

Ever Get A Song Stuck In Your Head?
For me it's always one you heard a lot when you were younger and next time you hear it, it's 20 years later. Climie Fisher - Love Changes

Singapore
Yep, good stuff those crabs, love it when they give you a paper bib cos it gets everywhere. I loved those chilli stingrays and garlic prawns on East Coast washed down with sugar cane juice or ice cold beer. The simple S'pore signature dish, chicken rice, is bob on ( not just breast meat and white rice but the fragrance of the rice and effort that goes into it all) is the business at 2 quid a pop. Along with the local food, what I miss about S'pore and other expat countries is the weekend hotel buffet lunch. 75 quid at the Fullerton on Sunday gets you free flow Taittinger (and proper free flow where the waiter is by your table all the time and you can smash through 3 bottles each no problem), free cocktails and the best international food you can imagine - sashimi, curries, carveries, 4 types of oysters. 3 hours of absolute bliss, and a nice (legitimate) foot massage/kip later.

Singapore
Singapore has really changed in the last 5 yrs in a bid to attract more tourists. For families, there's a Universal studios (tough going in the heat) and the Zoo (night time is better but you'd probably want to hit the bars). There's the London Eye equivalent (S'pore Flyer) and the Marina Bay Sands hotel for high rise views but 69th floor of the Stamford Hotel is your best bet for great views cos it's inside and there's a decent bar (Equinox). Sentosa's been spruced up but the War Museum is still there and worth a visit. For food, Bogsy's right, hawker centres are the best (find them everywhere, avoid Newton Circus, tourist trap). East Coast Park for cracking chilli crab, fresh fish, king prawns and satay in a relaxed by the beach mode. Loads of bars now, the CBD area has opened up completely with the new skyscrapers. For one night, still can't beat Boat Quay (Penny Black pub end) for early doors then Clarke Quay for later. For girls, S'pore was surprisingly relaxed about brasses (at least 4 major areas) but they've cleaned it up a bit now so there's only really 4 Floors that is quite open. It's tacky, you get mithered and full of American sailors. Good for a one night laugh I suppose but try the back of the Boat Quay - the real gem for blokes looking for Filipinas allegedly, or the Elvis bar on Boat Quay. Just let me know if you want more info, I moved back from S'pore last year or else I'd suggest we meet up. Enjoy it mate, it's great but with fx at 2:1, drinks are pricey.

Wrexham Away 1988 Ish
Nearly caught one of Robbie Savage's boots thinking how valuable they'd be. Amazing season, first away game, we took over Scarboro and got battered 4-0. Last game, we took 4,000 to Wrexham and unbelievably won. That's Bolton for you.

Do You Remember The Exact Moment
Sunderland at home for me. We'd won at Wigan after a disastrous start to this season. The Mackems were battering us at 0-0 yet he was waving everyone forward rather than defend, take the point and maintain some form of unbeaten run/confidence. Needless to say, they scored a la Spurs' second t'other week.

Good pick Traf, it was a creditable effort. I has Starscope, Buick gave her far to much to do at a track where they don't often come from behind.- A Decent Chance.
you wouldn't believe which of the two I was on at Cheltenham then, kin Battlecry!! I wanna cry- A Decent Chance.
Aye if there was anything to learn from the 1.40 race, it was the far side rail- A Decent Chance.
Nah Enzo, I put 3 units on the winner just as they left the stalls, I got 1 unit matched but it shortened from 3.3 to 2.66 in less than half a furlong for some reason so I cancelled the other 2 units. And 1 unit on the CD horse Rowans something or other. Defeat even in victory! I tend to back 2 or 3 horses in a race, 1 hard fancy and 2 saver bets, I don't see a lot of value in e/w stakes unless it's a horse 10/1 upwards trading at 2/1 a place.- A Decent Chance.
second race for me 2.0 Chel Bold Chief gubbed in the last few strides 1/8 on in-running isn't life great? - Barry Hearn
