Pretty sure the C Shares do have voting rights on the latest amendment (19/8/25) to the Articles of Association. "C Shares: means a C ordinary share of £1 in the capital of the Company designated as a C Share." They also have additional rights on a return of capital (liquidation, capital reduction, sale or listing) set out in Para 12.3. I'm sure an expert will be along shortly to explain and put all this in context of what it means for the budget.

Most of the fans of our rivals are having meltdown as well. Preston, Rovers and Lincoln to name a few. Lincoln thumped by 10 man Barnsley this evening and last week a thrashing by Grimsby. Meanwhile we draw with Everton and beat Breda but we're shit.

We were decent for 25 minutes and Gale had chances to double our lead. After that they came into it and were unlucky not to equalise. The game fizzled out a bit late on with all the changes, but we did create a few chances e.g. Dalby’s miss. We didn’t work there keeper enough though over 90. The defence looks solid enough, but a middle 3 of Rodrigues, Sheehan and Simons didn’t give it much protection today, too easily bypassed. Famewo is a pure defender. Stephenson more promising going forward but on his side Ritchie offered little and was peripheral to the game sadly, and needs to go out on loan. Gale and Dalby were Gale and Dalby.

Not sure where/what you were watching. Was only on 10 mins and made 2 great overlapping runs. The 1st Instead of Warren giving him the return ball Warren contrived to lose on the half way line leaving them to counter with Larra in their half. The 2nd he got the return ball ran 40 yds and then passed it across the 6yd box to no avail. Looked promising going forward.

They need all their fringe players this week, next week they can dump them. I’ve pictures and a commentary that sounds like it’s in an echo chamber so switched the sound off.

Think most of us agree that directing a significant number of school pupils towards vocational/technical work and preparing them for it, is a good idea. We (the country) can't afford to employ 50% more teachers to teach new subjects and carry on paying the rest to teach the remaining 50% (I know I'm simplifying here but you get the principle), so we need to find a way to try and fund it within existing budgets (defence, social care and health, education can't all be a priority for more resource unless we want to tax ourselves to death). How do we do that? What are we going to do less of to fund the push?

Well that was my point. Suggest something new or different and everyone sticks their hand out rather than try and manage with what they've got.

Existing budget needs refocusing rather than additional resource on any scale. Don't backfill vacant humanities posts that arise, redirect the budget to technical teacher posts. Get existing humanities teachers to retrain. Apprectiate it needs planning, but this is 14 months minimum away from start of implementation at the earliest.

My first thought as well. Great news for them. Always feels to me that as a club/fanbase we don't quite give him the support he deserves when he and his family are campaigning. I guess that's just the by product of only being here a few months and the fans not really getting to know him.

Me neither. Both Stephenson and Larra can play in multiple positions. I do suspect Stephenson was one in the bank in case Larra didn’t sign for us, and SS may have suggested biding our time earlier in the window. But comes a point if we don’t sign them somebody else will. Stephenson has played well pre-season.
