I've been looking at these android mini PC dongles. They plug into your HDMI port and you can then Use BBC iplayer, 4oD for TV. Or it can play downloaded films etc just like a tablet. They come with WiFi.

My Nexus 4 get 16,000 kbps download on Three the other day. Fast enough for me. I bought mine outright so that it will easy to upgrade in 12/18 months time. Two years seems a long time.

I have the phone and it's ace. Only £279.00 from google play with no contract and unlocked so you can keep your current contract. It feels better build quality than the Galaxy S2/S3, it's glass at the back, not much plastic. It's only 3G, no 4G. It's quad core and with 2GB of RAM so future proof there. Limited to 8 or 16GB hard drive with no expansion. 8 mega pixal camera may be out of date with the new phones around the corner. Very clear and sharp sceen. HTH.

Just been playing around with this Google music. You can actually download songs, alums, playlists etc. when you do have a wi-fi signal to the device. Best of both worlds?

All of my 10,000 songs, bar 30, have been uploaded. I've got mainly mp3's, but loads of aac and other stuff. I think I have bought about 5 mp3's ever!

Google 'Play Music' uploads up to 20,000 songs. Free on Android, less than a quid on th'apple.

On Three, you can simply go from contract to PayG when the contract expires. So reason why the others can't?
