My Fitbit does. But I think they overestimate. It tells me I've burnt 3000 kcal. I'll consume 1900 (average per day over a week) but not lose anywhere near the weight predicted.

Reading some of the reviews, is it true you need to have the app actually open to record the results(via Bluetooth)? I want to step on them every morning, still half asleep!

You could download all your photos to your PC/mobile/tablet and then install the app. It should pick up the photos and upload them for you.
Any good sources of info? It's something that runs in the family so I want help myself as much as possible.
