Being a rover i wouldn't bother, simply because it is a rover. As for the MOT thing they would not have checked for radiator or oil leaks as the mot simply determines if the car is safe (brakes, tyres, suspension etc). However if they were that bad then surely they would have noticed them. Get a second opinion is always the best option, although to check for leaks park it with some newspaper under it overnight, if there are no leaks then chances are they are lying to you

The trouble with sticking a younger and probably more naive person in an adult jail is that you are placing them in with the experienced criminals who can teach them worse ways. Its a difficult one really, they need to be punished for their crimes but i am starting to get the opinion that prisons are clearly not the way forward for most of them. Clearly you weren't in the rather blackburn orientated pub i ended up in, it was hilarious, acording to the lot i was sat with they should have had 7 (yes seven!) penalties, and a definite goal. A hearty day of getting drunk and mocking the blackburn jokers was had by all.
